That’s So Raven was a wildly popular show during its time on the Disney Channel. It was their highest-rated program during its initial run and was the first series to produce 100 episodes. It even spawned two spin-off series: Cory in the House starring Kyle Massey and Raven’s Home, which follows Raven and Chelsea’s lives as single mothers.

But nothing quite lives up to the chaotic majesty of the original in our memory. Raven’s supernatural ability to catch glimpses of the future was intriguing, but it was her ingenuity (and her many clever disguises) that cemented her place in our hearts. Let’s look back on some of the best episodes of the series, according to IMDb users.

10 Driven to Insanity (8.2)

In this episode, Raven gets asked out on a date by an older boy named Matthew. Her parents aren’t a fan of the idea, however, and tell her she has to babysit her brother Cory instead. But Raven has Chelsea and Eddie cover for her while she sneaks out. But Matthew isn’t what Raven expected. He’s incredibly immature and disgusting and Raven immediately regrets her decision. But just as she’s about to call it quits, her parents walk into the restaurant and she has to keep her cool not to be found out.

9 Point of No Return (8.2)

Raven and the gang are out shopping when Raven has a vision of herself wearing a brand new top to a party that night. The blouse is expensive, but Raven decides to buy it with the $100 her dad gave her to buy a calculator. Then she’ll just wear the blouse to the party and return it the next day, no problem.

Or it wouldn’t be, until Raven stains the shirt. Everything she does to try and fix the shirt just makes it worse. Even when it seems like she’s finally in the clear, she rips the sleeve clean off. She probably should have just bought the calculator.

8 The Lying Game (8.2)

After a career aptitude test, Raven discovers that she’s meant to be a teacher. Therefore, she needs to spend the next day shadowing someone in that profession. She gets paired with Mrs. Applebaum, Cory’s teacher. But Raven and Cory home that day at each other’s throats, each with conflicting stories of what happened that paints the other as the villain. It takes a neutral third party to clear up what actually happened: that it wasn’t anyone’s fault. Instead, the two learn a lesson about seeing things from the other’s perspective and learn not to expect the worst from each other.

7 Double Vision (8.3)

In this episode, Raven meets someone who has the same abilities she does. That someone just happens to be Ben, Chelsea’s newest crush. When he finds out Raven’s psychic, they become friends. Hugging gives them both a joint vision. Chelsea, seeing them hug, becomes jealous.

Raven has to deal with that while also trying to organize a benefit concert featuring singer Rayne Bow. She has a vision of Rayne Bow getting locked in a closet with Eddie, and has to kiss Ben to trigger a vision strong enough to know where they are. Luckily, Chelsea is understanding once she realizes they’re just friends.

6 Teacher’s Pet (8.4)

When Raven’s class gets a brand new teacher — young, cool, likes to be called by her first name— the kids start to think they can take advantage of the situation. When Mrs. Dearborne, sorry, Courtney suggests that studying can be a party, Raven takes her advice a little too literally. She thinks that because her teacher wants to be friends, that means she can manipulate her into not giving out a test. Unfortunately, Raven finds out that even a cool teacher is still a teacher.

5 That’s Not So Raven (8.4)

We all know that Raven’s dream is to be a fashion designer. In this episode, the show tackles the problem of beauty culture with regards to modelling. Raven has a vision of herself modeling a dress she created. She’s thrilled when she gets accepted into a fashion show modeling her own designs. But when the pictures show up in a magazine, it’s clear Raven’s appearance has been digitally altered to make her body look much thinner. This is understandably very upsetting, and Raven has to face off against the agency head, who believes there’s only one way a model can look.

4 Where There Is Smoke (8.4)

Victor leaves Raven and Cory alone for the weekend. While he’s away, Raven finds a packet of cigarettes under Cory’s bed and believes he’s taken up smoking. She decides to gather up all of the people Cory knows in order to help him understand how dangerous smoking can be.

However, Cory denies it and Raven refuses to believe him. She gets angry when he keeps saying he doesn’t smoke. Eventually, it comes out that Cindy, Cory’s girlfriend, was the one smoking due to peer pressure, and she clears his name. She also promises to stop smoking herself. This was aired as the final episode of the show, despite not originally intended to be the finale.

3 Cake Fear (8.5)

When Raven’s parents decide to go away for the weekend, Raven and Cory believe they’ll have the house to themselves. This turns out not to be the case; Victor has actually hired one of their old babysitters, Miss Patterson, to come keep an eye on them. This doesn’t bother them at first because they called her “Push-Over Patterson” and don’t expect much trouble. But once upon a time, Victor took Tanya out for her birthday and left a cake in the fridge for her. The kids ate the cake and blamed it on Miss Patterson. Little do they know that now Miss Patterson’s out for revenge.

2 The Road to Audition (8.5)

Raven and her friends become obsessed with a TV show called “Undercover Superstar,” in which talent scouts go out to schools to find students gifted in music. After Raven has a vision of a janitor telling her he’s undercover, she resolves to give him the best performance he’s ever seen and secure a place on the show. However, it turns out the janitor is actually undercover for the health department. Disappointed from the misunderstanding, Raven brushes off another janitor asking about musical students — who turns out to Paula Abdul.

1 True Colors (8.7)

This episode directly tackles the problem of racism. It begins when Raven and Chelsea both apply for jobs at Sassy’s. Raven crushes her interview, but Chelsea doesn’t fare so well. However, it’s Chelsea that gets the job. Raven is confused at first, until she has a vision of the store manager saying she doesn’t hire black people. When she tells her parents, they all come up with a plan to expose the manager’s discrimination. Chelsea is outfitted with a hidden camera and Raven and Eddie disguise themselves to help her get the evidence.
