The 100 have given us some pretty strange couples over its surprisingly long run on air. While fan loyalty usually holds steady even during the most head-scratching of relationships that doesn’t mean that there haven’t been a few couples who were just made for each other.

Sadly, The 100 isn’t exactly known for happy endings and unfortunately many of these couples have met their demise long before their love could blossom into something amazing. With that said, let’s do a quick rundown of those who have withstood the test of time thanks to their agreeable MBTI® personalities.

10 Ontari & Murphy: ISFJ And ESTJ

Fans have a love, hate relationship with Murphy. Thanks to his ISFJ nature Murphy has never been trusting of those around him, thus isolating himself from potential allies due to his rigidness and lack of respect for life.

Ontari on the other hand fits like a glove with him due to her ESTJ disposition of making decisions quickly and being dogmatic in her ways. While different in their own ways, they still are fairly similar to each other in doing whatever it takes to survive, making them a perfect match for one another.

9 Clarke And Finn: ISTPs

At one time, Clarke and Finn were a power couple on The 100, then Finn decided in his quest to protect Clarke to be homicidal, ending their relationship with his execution, by none other than the woman he was trying to save.

Both Clarke and Finn were ISTPs who were leaders in their own right and were capable of adapting to the situations that life gave them a fair amount of ease. Sadly, both at times could be a bit self-absorbed and neither had a great reputation of being loyal in a relationship.

8 Lincoln And Octavia: ISFP And ESTP

From the very beginning, Lincoln was the Yin to Octavia’s Yang. He was subtle, competent and always kept his head above the fray, this was mainly due to his ISFP disposition allowing him to see beyond the emotion of the moment. Octavia’s ESTP disposition made her brash, daring but fierce in battle, making the two a surprisingly perfect couple for each other.

Even though they started off on opposite sides of the war, they found love in the most unexpected of places. Though, like many other couples on the show, their love was not meant to last.

7 Raven And Finn: INTJ And ISTP

At his worst, Finn’s ISTP nature took a downward spiral when he cheated on his then-current girlfriend Raven, a girl he had grown up with and dated for years with Clarke a girl he had just met. This nature exhibited the flaws and cynical nature that ISTPs on a wayward trend usually show before crashing.

Raven’s INTJ need for adventure made her compatible with the always roaming Finn. Making it one of the bigger surprises that these two called it quits so early on in the show.

6 Clarke And Bellamy: ISTP And ENTJ

Unlike Finn who let his ISTP nature turn him sour, Bellamy uses the better side of his ENTJ nature. He is a strong leader who doesn’t mind making hard decisions for the overall well-being of the survivors. In fact, it was his strength in character that at first put him at odds with Clarke.

Yet, as time grew the ISTP in Clarke and the ENTJ in Bellamy began to form a strong bond. One of mutual respect and admiration, especially during these unique survival situations where tough calls were often needed.

5 Kane And Abbey: INTP And ENFJ

True leaders know their strengths and weaknesses. If one of those weaknesses jeopardizes the group, a strong leader will step down and allow someone else to take command. Kane exhibited the best and worst that an INTP personality can offer. His independence and strength to lead were admirable but his rigidness proved deadly for his subordinates.

Abbey on the other hand was a true ENFJ, shirking from the role of leadership until the moment arose when she had no choice. These two contrary personalities actually form an indestructible relationship that both mutually benefit from.

4 Clarke And Lexa: ISTP And ENTP

The death of Lexa was one of the most heartbreaking moments on The 100, leaving most fans still mourning the loss of one of the more influential characters on the show. Not to mention the fact that Clarke and Lexa’s relationship was still in the early parts and never fully got to become more established.

Both Clarke and Lexa had completely different leadership qualities due to Clarke being an ISTP and Lexa an ENTP but both managed to gel physically and emotionally. Making them one of the best couples on the show.

3 Monty And Harper: ENFP And INFJ

As an INFJ, Harper never really knew what to do with the emotions she felt for Monty. This is a clear INFJ trait as those with this personality type often never know how to show their emotions to others in the way they wish to express them.

Monty is by far one of the more likable characters on the show with his creative ingenuity and free spirit mentality. It was memorable when Harper finally built up the courage to show Monty just how she felt about him. Luckily, for both of them, he felt the same way.

2 Raven And Wick: INTJs

If one had to name just one couple on the show that was truly made for each other due to their personality traits, it would definitely be Raven and Wick. These two used the best of what INTJs offer, creating a world of beautiful ingenuity with the humbleness that manifests in only the best of humans.

Both are strong-willed individuals who refuse to take no for an answer. Yet, found themselves saying yes to a love that had been blossoming for some time. The only question that fans still ask about this couple is what took so long?

1 Jasper And Maya Vie: ESFJ And ISFJ

Both ESFJs and ISFJs share a strong sense of emotional feelings. It’s through these feelings that they are driven with logic taking a backseat. Jasper’s ESFJ side allowed him to experience life on the edge but hindered him as he constantly jumped to conclusions before thinking.

His relationship with the ISFJ Maya Vie was beautiful in the sense that Maya grounded Jasper and Jasper showed her adventure that she had only dreamed about before. It is through these shared experiences that love began to grow even if it was short-lived. Though, one can imagine their love is eternal.
