The Amazing Race 32 has awarded quite a few prizes to the first place teams on the show, including amazing trips and large sums of money. So far, TAR 32 has taken the contestants – and the viewers – on trips to Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, France, Germany, and Kazakhstan. Up next, the show will travel to India, Cambodia, the Philippines. The teams will then return to the United States to finish the race on domestic soil. Out of the 11 teams that were cast on the season, only six still remain on the show and are competing for the $1 million grand prize.

The six teams left on TAR 32 are Aparna and Eswar Dhinakaran; Chee Lee and Hung Nguyen; DeAngelo Williams and Gary Barnidge; Haley and Kaylynn Williams; Maddison and Riley McKibbin; and Will Jardell and James Wallington. Boyfriends Will and James are currently in first place on TAR 32, but the upcoming Mega Leg could change the entire course of the season. Because the fans have never seen what a Mega Leg is, it’s anyone’s guess as to how this format will affect the season’s leaderboard. Nonetheless, Aparna and Eswar finished in last place on Leg 7, so they have a bit of catching up to do.

So far, the prizes on The Amazing Race 32 have been awarded to whichever team finishes in first place on a particular Leg, as it is the show’s tradition. However, no prize was given out after the first Leg of the season. Married couple Hung and Chee finished Leg 2 in first place and won a trip for two to Switzerland. Then, boyfriends Will and James got first place on Leg 3 (where they won a trip for two to Bali) and Leg 4 (where each of them won a cash prize of $5,000). On Leg 5, it was pro volleyball players Riley and Maddison’s turn to win, being rewarded with a trip for two to Vietnam. Former NFL athletes DeAngelo and Gary won Leg 6 and earned a cash prize of $7,500 for each of them. On Leg 7, Will and James once again came out on top, winning a trip for two to Las Vegas.

There’s still quite a bit of racing to go until these teams get to the TAR season 32 finale. Nonetheless, whoever wins that final Leg will get to take home the coveted grand prize of $1 million. With that said, only one team can win that money, so these smaller prizes for finishing in first place are definitely very exciting to the teams that won them. Up next, TAR 32 will feature the show’s first-ever Mega Leg. And who knows, maybe the prize for that special Leg will also be bigger than ever?

This season of The Amazing Race is far from over, but the show is indeed closer than ever to reaching its final destination. And because only six teams are left, the competition will be tougher than it’s ever been this year.

The Amazing Race 32 airs on Wednesdays at 8pm ET on CBS.
