Bachelor Nation fans are looking forward to learning more about Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor, including its release date, full cast list, and latest updates. Immediately after his stint on Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, Clayton was to be the next Bachelor. Production was so confident in their choice that they didn’t even air for the season to air before casting Clayton as the lead of season 26. Alas, throughout The Bachelorette season 18, certain viewers did question Clayton being chosen as a lead.

In any case, Bachelor Nation is now on the verge of embarking on Clayton’s season of The Bachelor as it premieres during the first week of 2022. On this season, The Bachelor season 5 lead Jesse Palmer will be replacing Chris Harrison following the longtime host’s post-season 25 ousting. Meanwhile, production was able to go back to its regular filming location in Agoura Hills, California. As Bachelor Nation rings in the new year, it’s time for Clayton’s season of The Bachelor to start.

The Bachelor Season 26 Premiere Date

It’s official: The Bachelor season 26 is scheduled to premiere on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Michelle’s season aired on Tuesdays throughout the fall of 2021, but the traditional Bachelor Mondays are coming back for Clayton’s season of The Bachelor. As seen in the latest trailer for Clayton’s season (included below), this will be a wild ride for the viewers watching at home. Not much has been revealed about the season, but there’s no denying that fans should brace themselves for quite a bit of drama.

The Bachelor Season 26 Cast

The Bachelor season 26 will feature as many as 31 contestants. These 31 women will be vying for Clayton’s love and attention in the hopes that they can find love at the end of this process. Clayton’s cast of women includes Cassidy Timbrooks, Claire Heilig, Daria Rose, Eliza Isichei, Elizabeth Corrigan, Ency Abedin, Gabby Windey, Genevieve Parisi, Hailey Malles, Hunter Haag, Ivana Noble, Jane Paik, Jill Chin, Kate Gallivan, Kira Mengistu, Lindsay Dobbs, Lyndsey Windham, Mara Agrait, Marlena Wesh, Melina Nasab, Rachel Recchia, Rianna Hockaday, Salley Carson, Samantha Jeffries, Sarah Hamrick, Serene Russell, Shanae Ankney, Sierra Jackson, Susie Evans, Teddi Wright, and Tessa Tookes. Age-wise, this cast ranges from 23-year-old Sarah to 33-year-old Jane. Clayton is a Missouri native, but there are no MO contestants cast in season 26. In turn, there are a few cast members who work in health care and will probably bond with Clayton over their careers.

The overall response to Clayton being the next Bachelor wasn’t exactly what producers had hoped for when they chose him. With that said, the show must go on, and season 26 will now happen with Clayton at the forefront. Hopefully, this will be an exciting and dramatic season for viewers to follow along every Monday night.
