The Bachelorette: What To Know About Surgical Skin Salesman Jeff

Jeff Caravello is one of the 30 men who was trying to win Katie’s love this season on The Bachelorette. He is known for being a surgical skin salesman and arriving at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in an RV. Jeff is very energetic and enthusiastic, which is evident during the season premiere as he talks about forming a connection with Katie. He is ready to find love and wants a funny and adventurous woman like Katie in his life. 

First impressions are crucial when meeting the Bachelorette during the season premiere because it is the first opportunity to stand out among the other contenders. Jeff’s introduction certainly made him stand out, but maybe not in the way he had hoped. He pulled up to greet Katie in the RV he had been living in, which certainly stood out among the other introductions that night. Things quickly got uncomfortable for Katie when Jeff invited her in for a tour of the RV. 

Between the tour of the questionable vehicle and the unsettling reassurance that Jeff made saying he would not murder the Bachelorette in the RV, Katie was undoubtedly and very visibly uncomfortable. Jeff may not be the neatest, but Katie noted that he did try to have fun with the whole situation. Unfortunately for Jeff, Katie did not feel any connection between them. Considering that Katie had to throw aside dirty boxers and watch Jeff obnoxiously eat celery in his RV, it is no surprise that he would be one of the first men out this season. 

The 31-year-old surgical skin salesman is based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Despite the interesting job title, being a surgical skin salesman is an impressive occupation. It involves selling artificial skin for skin grafts and other medical situations. Cancer patients and burn patients may need artificial skin, and Jeff provides the artificial skin needed for the condition. Jeff’s job is important and admirable, regardless of how worrisome the job title may seem. 

Jeff has a big Italian family and loves spending time with them, especially when they are cooking an Italian meal. Jeff is a family man and always makes time to mow his parents’ lawn or sit down for a family dinner. In his Bachelorette bio, he is described as “energetic, outgoing, and loving to his core”. His bio also mentions that he loves animals and has “never met an animal that didn’t love him,” which would seem to pair well with Katie’s love for cats. On the other hand, Jeff does not have an Instagram or any social media presence, where Katie loves sharing on social media. 

Jeff’s professional life and family life are both very secure and he is ready to find love, which he considers to be the one thing missing from his life. Jeff admires the love his parents share and was hoping to form a love as strong as theirs with Katie. Unfortunately, this pairing was not meant to be, and he could not build a relationship with Katie. Although he did not make it through Katie’s first cut, Jeff will certainly be remembered for his memorable entrance and interesting job title.
