The Challenge: Kaycee & Nany Reveal Where Their Relationship Stands

The Challenge fans are locked into the status of Kaycee Clark and Nany Gonzalez’s relationship after seeing them share a kiss in the season 37 trailer. There have been hints of flirtatious behavior between the two show stars in past seasons, but the new season trailer showed them finally taking things to the next level. With Kaycee only recently getting out of a serious relationship, her ex-girlfriend has been blasting her with cheating accusations. Now Kaycee and Nany are speaking up and explaining exactly where they stand.

Nany and Kaycee are among the returning veterans on The Challenge. The two made it to the finals last season but didn’t get a chance to take home the big win. In addition to both competitors coming back with a vengeance in hopes of leaving victorious, Nany and Kaycee also were finally both single enough to engage in an in-house fling. Show fans have seen the two flirting in past seasons but couldn’t take things further due to Kaycee being in a relationship. But with Kaycee splitting from her girlfriend Tayler Jimenez, it looks like Nany has become her new concubine.

The season 37 trailer revealing Kaycee and Nany’s kiss came on the heels of Nany’s “magnetic” Instagram post where she appeared to confirm their romance. While speaking on the new season, Nany and Kaycee dished the exact status of their relationship. “Kaycee and I met on Total Madness,” Nany explained to E! News. “We’ve always been allies in the game and have maintained a very good friendship since, but there was always an undeniable connection between the two of us.” Now the new season will give viewers a chance to see the two competitors “explore what that connection is and what it means,” Nany added.

While this won’t be the first onscreen couple competing on the show, it is the first time Kaycee has dated someone that she also is competing against. Most Challenge couples share secret alliances that can help them make it to the final challenge. But Kaycee admits that this new showmance is a new distraction for her. “Whenever I am competing on a reality show, I’m always in compete mode and that’s my main focus,” Kaycee said. “So this time around, playing the game while getting closer to someone is a whole different vibe and I love it.” With the game putting players through the wringer with obstacles that can make or break them, Kaycee says it is nice “having someone like Nany by my side while playing this game means a lot. She’s a bada**.”

Nany and Kaycee teasing their budding romance comes on the heels of Kaycee’s ex blasting her on social media. Tayler took to Twitter this week to accuse The Challenge competitor of cheating on her with Nany. Tayler claimed that Kaycee had been talking and flirting with Nany while they were still living together as a couple. Unfortunately for Tayler, Nany’s flirting worked and now Kaycee is getting “magnetic” with her co-star.
