Spies, Lies & Allies competitor Emy Alupei made a big impression on The Challenge viewers last season, and her mixture of athleticism, heart, and humor have fans praying that she’ll return to the MTV competition show for season 38. The blue-haired rookie from Romania went farther than any other first-time player in her debut season, and if she were to return next season, Emy has the potential to go all the way.

In her very first season, Emy stood out from the pack of international rookies almost immediately. Her signature blue hair made her easy to spot in every daily challenge, and she developed fast friendships with the veterans in the house, which was an extremely smart move. Emy also racked up impressive stats for her first season, which included four elimination wins and four daily challenge wins, and she was the only rookie to actually make it to the final. Getting to a The Challenge final on your first season is no easy feat for a rookie, especially during Spies, Lies & Allies, a season in which vets played a very tight game.

On a recent episode of the Challenge Mania podcast, host TJ Lavin hinted that Emy could very well return for The Challenge season 38. “I think she’s a staple,” Lavin commented. “I love her. She’s awesome. She does really good. I think she’s really a bada** player.” His words probably got a lot of fans excited because Emy truly was an exceptional player last season. On Spies, Lies & Allies, nearly every first-time cast member was completely stonewalled by the vets. Still, amazingly, female rookie Emy stuck around and impressed veteran players with her physical abilities and affable personality. The elimination challenges Emy won were exceptionally difficult and demanding, and Emy is well-positioned to return to season 38 as a vet.

In addition to Emy’s impressive competitive abilities and accomplishments, she’s absolutely electric to watch. Emy always gives her all and is always a good sport, and her “Uncle CT” and “Mr. TJ” nicknames were endearing to both viewers and cast members. With a bright and outgoing personality, Emy was endlessly entertaining, and she treated every elimination win as if she’d won the Super Bowl—”for Romaniaaaa!” Challenge legend CT Tamburello took Emy under his wing because he saw her potential, and Emy quickly became a cunning player. The Spies, Lies & Allies rookie of the year’s natural charm combined with what she’s learned about how to play the game could make her an extremely compelling player in season 38, and many fans would love nothing more than to see Emy compete again.

Though there were many rookies on Spies, Lies & Allies who viewers would rather not see on the show again, Emy is a new competitor who holds enormous promise. Not only is she a fantastic player who gives each challenge 100%, but Emy is also entertaining and interesting to watch. She could easily become a new The Challenge regular, and a lot of fans are hoping Emy gets a call from production to join the season 38 cast.
