The Challenge: Turbo Lauded As He Reminisces About Time on the Show

The Challenge fans are reminiscing on the time when Turabi “Turbo” Çamkıran was competing on the show. The Turkish champion competed on both seasons of War of the Worlds before being sent home for fighting too much. Turbo’s elimination came after he won the first War of the Worlds. In a recent Twitter post, Turbo shared memories from his appearance on the show and viewers lauded his possible return.

Turbo was already a reality TV veteran and familiar with competing in brutal challenges when he made his first appearances on MTV shows. The Turkish star first appeared on Survivor Turkey 8, Survivor Turkey 9, and Survivor Turkey 12 before becoming the sole winner of War of the Worlds. He returned in War of the Worlds 2 but was sent home due to how much he was fighting with Jordan Wisely. Alas, his passion for the game and lovable accent made him a standout on the show. With Jordan having a history of rubbing competitors the wrong way, many viewers sided with Turbo in their onscreen feud.

Despite Turbo being eliminated, some fans of The Challenge are looking forward to him potentially returning to the franchise in the near future. As seen below, Turbo recently shared images from his time on the show on his Twitter page. “Turbo’s been reminiscing The Challenge lately, hope he knows we miss him too,” one Redditor captioned a thread. Other show fans took to the comments to share their favorite Turbo memories. “He added “p***ychicken” to the challenge lexicon and for that, he will forever be a legend,” one person said. “YOU CANNOT COPY MY WALK,” replied another in reference to Turbo’s infamous fight with Jordan in War of the Worlds 2.

Others shared their thoughts on Turbo’s return. “Come back Turbo,” one person said. “Is it more that Turbo didn’t want to come back or that B-M productions didn’t want him back,” one person asked. “I mean after hearing that some of Turbo’s friends were waiting outside Jordan and Tori’s hotel around the time of the reunion, I don’t blame production,” replied another. It looks like Turbo might not have been invited back to the show due to how many issues he caused behind the scenes. However, it’s possible that time can heal this wound.

Just like Turbo, The Challenge veteran CT Tamburello has been eliminated from past seasons due to fighting with other members of the cast. Alas, CT was able to return and went on to redeem himself. Hopefully, Turbo will be able to do that as well in the future. “I want a rivals season so bad, imagine Jordan and Turbo on the same team,” one fan said. It wouldn’t be the first time two rivals became friends. All things considered, the fans are very hopeful that Turbo can have a comeback soon.
