While many fans of The Circle hold the same, or similar, opinions about the show itself as well as each season’s contestants, there are always those who divert from the majority views. And there’s no better place to discuss opinions of all kinds than Reddit.

When it comes to The Circle, a reality TV competitions of which there are several different versions in a number of countries, fans are pretty passionate. Some have watched seasons of different versions, such as those from the U.S. and the U.K., while others wonder which is best. Some have picked their favorite players while the season airs, while others continue to follow players in the aftermath of a season. For example, some fans believe “Trevor” was the best catfish while others believe it was “River.” Whatever the case, plenty of the show’s fans on Reddit have something to say about it.

8 The Message From Home Segment Isn’t Good

Reddit user u/Saul_Tarvitz believes the segment in which players receive messages from members of their family back home is “dumb and cringy.”

Most who commented on the thread, though, wholeheartedly disagree. They note that the players have been separated from their families for so long, including time presumably quarantining before the show as well, that it’s sweet to see them finally get to hear from their loved ones. This is a common part of other reality TV shows with similar setups, like Big Brother (which The Circle is often compared to).  Sure, there are good friendships on The Circle, but they can’t compare to the players’ deep, real-life connections.

7 All Players Should Start From The Beginning

In theory, it makes sense for all players to start from the get-go, as expressed in a Reddit thread, but it likely isn’t logistically possible.

Some fans think one thing The Circle needs is to avoid bringing in new players. They’d love to see everyone enter the house at the same time and have the equal opportunity to form bonds without anyone being late to the party. However, it’s still an unpopular opinion among most fans. The majority of The Circle devotees maintain that this structure could pose potential problems in terms of setting up the game.

6 The Brazilian Version Is The Best

While Redditor u/silverrangel insists that the Brazilian version of The Circle is their favorite, the majority, according to one Reddit thread, agree that the U.K. version of the show is the best one.

While some other versions are mentioned, including France and the U.S., the hands-down favorite is the The Circle U.K. Not many Redditors believe the Brazilian version is anywhere near as compelling.

5 Jack Deserved To Go After The Make-up Game

While some fans believe that Jack deserved to be outed after he failed miserably at the makeup challenge, and that Jack deserved to be blocked on The Circle season 2, many think it was unfair for a number of reasons.

One of those reasons, according to Redditor aroha93, is the assumption that if Jack were a woman as he purported to be, he should have known how to apply makeup. Aroha93 identifies herself as female but claims she doesn’t know anything about foundation or contouring. Thus, it’s unfair to say that Jack deserved his elimination based on the idea that all women know how to apply makeup.

4 Terilisha Deserves To Be Bullied Online

While Terilisha generated a lot of controversy and unpopularity on social media after her exit from season 2 and feuds with other players, particularly Savannah, one Reddit thread shows that many fans don’t believe she deserves all of the hate.

It’s true that Terilisha was not a fan-favorite player from season 2 of The Circle, but many fans have called the anger and vitriol directed at her online childish and insensitive. Indeed, some Redditors even believe she was funny and one of the most entertaining parts of the season. The idea that Terlisha earned all the mean comments about her is not a popular opinion at all.

3 Season 3 Will Be Released Too Soon

In one Reddit discussion about the release of season 3 in September 2021, just five months after season 2, some fans expressed their opinion that it’s coming too soon. Most fans want more content, though, and they can’t believe another fan would want to wait longer if they don’t have to.

Most fans are clamoring for more The Circle, and they’re glad the seasons were filmed back-to-back so they can watch a new season sooner rather than having to wait until 2022. Anyone who expresses puzzlement over the new season being released so soon is not in the majority.

2 Trevor/DeLeesa Only Won Because Of Chloe

While some Redditors in a heated thread believe that DeLeesa, playing as her husband Trevor, won season 2 only thanks to her close relationship with Chloe, others believe it isn’t fair to discredit the amazing game that DeLeesa played.

While there are arguments to suggest that being close with Chloe helped DeLeesa’s game, many don’t agree that she could not have won without Chloe. They think Chloe should be credited with helping her win the game. DeLeesa playing as her husband was one of the best strategic movies in The Circle season 2. While having Chloe as an ally certainly helped, any smart player develops strong allies. That doesn’t take away from a player’s game; it adds to it. DeLeesa won thanks to her brilliant gameplay.

1 The Best Twist During A Blocking Is Influencer’s Choice

Redditor u/Luleinn started a thread with a poll to ask fans what was the best twist during a blocking. Of the 1,300 votes, the least popular response was when the influencers get to choose who to block.

Conversely, the most popular opinion was that the two lowest-rated players are the ones who automatically become blocked. The second most popular option: When the secret superinfluencer has to block the person face-to-face.
