Netflix’s The Cuphead Show! features a cast of characters voiced by talented actors. Just like the original Cuphead video game, The Cuphead Show! pays homage to rubber hose animation with a visual and musical aesthetic that feels like it came straight out of the golden age of American animation. The result is a unique show with memorable characters.

The original Cuphead game is centered around the titular Cuphead and his brother Mugman being forced to work as debt collectors for the Devil to keep their souls. By comparison, the Netflix original seriesis a more episodic story that offers different interpretations of the characters and the larger world. In January 2022, a month ahead of the show’s release, it was confirmed that the show had two additional seasons in development for future release.
