Wynonna Earp season 2 revealed the titular heroine is pregnant, but who is the father of her baby Alice? Wyatt Earp is an iconic historic figure, with the lawman’s life having served as the basis for numerous movies, including My Darling Clementine, the over-earnest Wyatt Earp starring Kevin Costner and the great Tombstone with Kurt Russell. Wynonna Earp is a SYFY horror/action series that sees the great, great-granddaughter of Wyatt coming back to her hometown of Purgatory and fighting the various witches, demons, ghouls and other creatures inhabiting it.

This also included The Revenants, the souls of those Wyatt killed and it’s up to Wynonna to sent them back to Hell with his Peacemaker revolver. Melanie Scrofano (Ready Or Not) plays the title role in Wynonna Earp, who has allies in Purgatory in the form of sister Waverly and Wyatt’s former best friend turned vampire Doc Holliday. The show has run for four seasons thus far and has earned a lot of devotees for its great characters and rich mythology.

Wynonna Earp is also famous for its sense of humor, and its never been afraid to get a little silly. Melanie Scrofano was pregnant during the production of season 2, so it was decided to make Wynonna’s pregnancy a major plotline. Once she learns she’s with child the natural assumption is the father is Doc, but there are some other suspects, including Agent Dolls and Jonas, a Revenant she had a one night stand with in the past.

Wynonna Earp season 2 eventually reveals that Doc Halliday is the baby’s father, and they name their child Alice Michelle, after Wynonna’s mother Michelle and Doc’s mother Alice. After Wynonna gave birth to Alice in the season 2 finale, she knew the baby would never be safe from her enemies in Purgatory. She gave Alice to her Waverly, who took her beyond the Ghost River Triangle. Doc got a share a small moment with his child before Alice Michelle was taken away to be raised by Wynonna’s aunt Gus far away from her parents.

Alice Michelle hasn’t reappeared on Wynonna Earp since the emotional season 2 finale, though she was mentioned during season 4. It feels very unlikely Alice won’t make some kind of comeback on the series before it ends, so maybe once Wynonna’s business in Purgatory is finally concluded, she can leave and be with her daughter. Of course, there’s a lot of Revenants and demons left in the town to deal with first.
