The stars of the ‘Arrowverse’ promptly began releasing statements about sexual harassment, with Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist and Arrow’s Emily Bett Rickards leading the charge. Green Arrow actor Stephen Amell and Black Canary actress Caity Lotz soon followed suit with their own statements. Although none of these actors explicitly named Kreisberg in their social media posts, their statements clearly show a united front among the cast against sexual misconduct and unsafe workspaces.

Now, Gustin has added his own voice to that chorus. Taking to Instagram to share his thoughts, the Barry Allen/Flash actor posted this:

It’s not just actors that are taking a stand, either. The Legends of Tomorrow writers room has also released a statement – via Twitter – in the wake of the allegations made against Kreisberg:

It is clear that this wave of harassment allegations, which began with the Harvey Weinstein allegations, has initiated a huge public discourse about sexual misconduct in the workplace. Like Benoist, Rickards, Amell and Lotz before them, Gustin and the writers of Legends of Tomorrow have used their social media platforms to support the victims of harassment and to call for a better and safer future. In line with their wishes, change does seem to finally be happening.

As allegations have reverberated around Hollywood in the last couple of weeks, so too have consequences: Harvey Weinstein was expelled from the Academy and fired from his company; Kevin Spacey was fired from House of Cards and removed from Ridley’s Scott’s All the Money in the World; and, Louis C.K. was fired by FX and dropped from The Secret Life of Pets 2.

As it stands, Kreisberg has only been suspended from his role at The CW. The Warner Bros. TV investigation into the allegations against Kreisberg is on-going, and it is unclear how long it will take for the company to reach a firm decision about his future.
