Warning! Spoilers for King in Black: Planet of the Symbiotes below!

The King in Black has not only caused destruction to heroes across the Marvel Universe but In King in Black: Planet of the Symbiotes #1 previews, Knull has taken all of the popular Marvel symbiotes and turned them into his own monster – and the results are pretty grisly.

The God of Symbiotes has made his name known across the cosmos, as he’s turned the Earth into his own dark planet, while also infecting some of it’s greatest heroes and villains to become his own army. While there have been a couple of teases of how the King in Black could be defeated, such as Star-Lord’s new powers and Black Knight’s Ebony Blade, as thing stands right now, Knull’s power is unrivaled – which is bad news for Earth’s symbiote hosts.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

King in Black: Planet of Symbiotes is a two-part story in a single comic. The first half of the issue focuses on Scream, the symbiote hosted by Andi Benton. Scream stops a fellow symbiote (it looks like Slasher) from harming a child when she’s confronted by a Venom monster that Knull created. The disgusting monster seems to be a combination of Marvel’s most iconic symbiotes, seemingly including Carnage, Agony, Phage, and more. It looks like Venom is possibly included, but his symbiotes’ status hasn’t been confirmed since he’s been ripped from Eddie Brock. Venom symbiotes have merged together before, most famously as Hybrid in the mid-90s, but nothing comes close to how gnarly this version is.

The Venom monster is absolutely disgusting as it has multiple heads, as well as revolting mouths with sharp teeth all over its body, and tendrils and tongues all over.

It remains to be seen how Scream will avoid dealing with the Venom monster, as it vies for her to join them in the monstrosity that Knull has made. Scream is one of the best fighters among the symbiotes and their hosts, but this doesn’t seem like a particularly fair fight.

The Venom monster shows how much control the King in Black has over the symbiotes. He basically Frankensteined some of the most powerful symbiotes on Earth to create an even greater monster. If you didn’t think the King in Black had true control over symbiotes and their being, it’s hard not to believe so now. Is Scream destined to join the Venom monster and become another head on its grotesque body? Readers will find out when King in Black: Planet of the Symbiotes is in stores next week!
