While a large chunk of the game takes place on the surface, players will spend a good amount of time exploring the skies and helping out the denizens of Skyloft. One moment, in particular, players will need to take out Bilocyte, which has taken control of Levias, one of the creatures that live amongst the sky. This guide will show players how they can defeat it.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Players will be able to battle Levias after resealing The Imprisoned for the second time. Once this is done, head back over to Skyloft and speak with Headmaster Gaepora in the Knight Academy. Gaepora will mention that Levias has been acting a bit strange and he will teach the player a new move on his Loftwing, Spiral Charge. This will now send the player over to Pumpkin Landing where the player will be able to put this new ability to the rest. After completing a new quest there, players will need to head to the Rainbow Island in Thunderhead for the battle to begin. This guide will show players how to defeat Levias.

How To Beat Levias in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

This fight is broken up into two different phases. Before leaping off into the sky to battle it, gather any nearby hearts to refill on HP.

  • Phase 1: Players will be on their Loftwing and will be tasked with using the Spiral Charge on the four eyeballs that are attached to Levias. It might take a few charges since Levias is about the same speed as Link. Charge at all four of them directly to remove them.
  • Phase 2: The battle will transition to the body of Levias. Now on Link’s feet, players will need to reflect the green gunk balls it spits out back at it. It will fall over, and players will be given the chance to slash at its eyes directly. Repeat this process and the battle is over.

Levias will now be set free and return deep within the clouds. This battle can be done in a single run but phase 1 might be frustrating for some. There’s nothing worst than missing that Spiral Charge and having to realign Link again to land it.
