The Mandalorian unexpectedly answered a ton of questions about The Child, Grogu, in Chapter 13, “The Jedi.” That led the young potential Jedi to the planet Tython and an ancient Jedi temple, where he connected to the Force in the shocking Chapter 14, “The Tragedy.” But did any Jedi hear Grogu through the Force? What about other Force users in the galaxy?

Fans have lots of questions going into Chapter 15, and one of the biggest is if any Force Users will answer the call of Grogu. Will any one come at all? Will they be familiar, or could they be someone that fans haven’t seen before in Star Wars?

10 Supreme Leader Snoke

It’s not a lock that only Jedi will hear Grogu through the Seeing Stone. As the sequel trilogy made clear, one powerful Force user can hear and manipulate thoughts across vast distances in space. Supreme Leader Snoke remains something of a mystery himself, but his power and influence are considerable. Snoke eventually consolidates power within the terrible First Order and corrupts Ben Solo from far. Could he hear the call of Grogu? Could Grogu’s call lead the Imperial Remnant to become the eventual First Order?

9 Anakin Skywalker

It’s also not certain that only living Jedi or Force users would hear Grogu. Fans don’t know yet how exactly the Seeing Stone works. Does it function in some way similar to the World Between Worlds introduced in Star Wars: Rebels? If so, Grogu could potentially be talking to a Force Ghost. One candidate would be Anakin Skywalker. Nothing is known of Anakin in canon after his redemption, but it would be fascinating to see how the character has evolved since putting the mantle of Darth Vader behind him.

8 Quinlan Vos

Quinlan Vos is an early example of something The Mandalorian has perfected: taking characters and ideas of Legends into Star Wars canon. Quinlan Vos is a rogue Jedi first introduced in the Dark Horse comics in the early 2000s. He then featured in some of the best storylines of the Clone Wars animated series, bringing him officially into the canon. It’s unclear what his ultimate fate is, meaning he could still be out there somewhere in the galaxy.

7 Ezra Bridger

A Jedi who is definitely out there somewhere in the galaxy is Ezra Bridger. Bridger disappeared along with Grand Admiral Thrawn in the finale of Star Wars: Rebels. Clone Wars veteran Ahsoka Tano’s live-action debut in Chapter 13 made it clear that she is on the trail. Could Ezra come to Grogu?

Given that Ezra seems to be the object of Ahsoka’s quest, it’s unlikely the narrative would undercut it to bring him into the story. Still, it would be another surprise in a season that has been full of them.

6 Barriss Offee

Another significant Jedi from the Clone Wars era whose fate remains uncertain is Barris Offee. The former Padawan to Jedi Master Luminara Unduli betrayed the Jedi and framed Ahsoka Tano for crimes she didn’t commit. She was placed into custody, and nothing is known about her after. Lots of theories speculate as to what may have happened to her – she became an Imperial Inquisitor, perhaps – but her fate is just one of many things that need to explore after the end of Clone Wars.

5 Obi-Wan Kenobi

Another major Force ghost who could have heard Grogu’s call is Obi-Wan Kenobi. Some things may not make sense about Obi-Wan, but one thing that does is his spirit can hear the calls of Jedi from across the galaxy. He instructed Luke to seek out Yoda while Luke called to him on Hoth. It’s also possible that Obi-Wan has some familiarity with Grogu. Fans now know the child was at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant for the first years of his life and Obi-Wan may have crossed paths with him.

4 Cal Kestis

Cal Kestis is a Jedi survivor of Order 66, and it could be that he is alive and well during The Mandalorian. If so, he could have heard Grogu’s call from Tython. At the end of his ordeal in the Jedi: Fallen Order video game, Cal finds another former Jedi, Cere Junda. Together, they set out to try and re-establish the Jedi Order. It’s not clear that they succeeded, given what fans know from the sequel trilogy. But Cal and Cere have in their possession a device with the location of Force-sensitive children.

3 Yoda

No Force ghost makes more sense to speak to Grogu from beyond than Jedi Master Yoda. Yoda, like Obi-Wan Kenobi, has powers beyond life and death. He also almost certainly knows Grogu personally. Grogu is a member of their same mysterious species and Grogu had ‘many masters’ at the temple, one of whom could have been Yoda.

Yoda is a legendary teacher, but he also allows his students to make their own decisions. It makes sense that he would be the one to help Grogu make his decision about whether to follow the Jedi way or stay with Din Djarin.

2 Leia Organa

Princess Leia Organa abandoned her Jedi training early on, but it’s clear she retained some of her abilities. One of them, already powerful in the original trilogy, is her talent to hear others through the Force. Leia heard Luke Skywalker on Bespin and could also sense his fate at Endor. It would be a surprise and a thrill to see Leia hear Grogu. Many questions remain about the Imperial Remnant, something the future leader of the Resistance would certainly be interested in.

1 Luke Skywalker

The most obvious choice for a Jedi in the Outer Rim five years after Return of the Jedi is Luke Skywalker. In many respects, he is the only active Jedi in the galaxy, barring the fates of others like Cal Kestis and Ezra Bridger. Luke’s power and position make him the most likely to hear Grogu, and from the needs of the story, the most necessary. Luke Skywalker has a vested interest in defeating the Empire and restarting the Jedi Order. Grogu could help him do both.
