The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7, “Chapter 15: The Believer” brings back Mayfeld (Bill Burr) from season 1, alongside some new cast members and characters. The Star Wars show nears the end of its second season, with the impending face-off between Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) inching near.

In its penultimate episode, The Mandalorian season 2 assembles a team of allies for Din as he begins his plans to rescue Baby Yoda from Moff Gideon. The adventure brought them to a new planet, Morak to hijack an Imperial facility where they can retrieve information about the location of the villain’s ship. In their mission, Mando and Mayfeld encounter an Imperial officer who’s very much committed to the cause of reviving the Empire.

Pedro Pascal As Din Djarin/Mandalorian

Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7. The actor is known for his roles in Game of Thrones and Narcos. He’s also appeared in films like Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Triple Frontier. Pascal’s next big project is Wonder Woman 1984.

Bill Burr As Mayfeld

Introduced in The Mandalorian season 1 as part of Ranzar Malk’s (Mark Boone Jr.) crew who betrayed Din, Bill Burr’s Mayfeld returns in “The Believer” as an unusual ally for Mando. The actor has appeared in Breaking Bad and F is for Family. He also co-founded the All Things Comedy network.

Gina Carano As Cara Dune

Ex-Rebel shock-trooper-turned-Nevarro Marshal Cara Dune assists Din in his mission in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7 by bringing in Mayfeld to help. Best-known as a former MMA star, she’s slowly building her acting resume with appearances in Deadpool, Fast & Furious 6, and Haywire.

Temuera Morrison As Boba Fett

As he promised Mando, Boba Fett is committed to providing help in the rescue of Grogu from Moff Gideon. Played by Temuera Morrison, the character offers his personal services to Din until he gets back Baby Yoda. Originally portraying  Jango Fett in  Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones, he returns to Star Wars as Boba. The actor previously appeared in Aquaman as Arthur Curry’s father.

Ming-Na Wen As Fennec Shand

After Fennec Shand survived Toro Calican’s (Jake Cannavale) attack in The Mandalorian season 2 thanks to Boba Fett’s help, she now works with the classic Star Wars bounty hunter, and by way, Din in his quest to bring back Baby Yoda. The character is played by Ming-Na Wen who’s been in Mulan and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Giancarlo Esposito As Moff Gideon

Making a last-minute appearance in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7 is Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon after Din was able to successfully send him a message about eventually taking back Grogu. He is known for playing Gus Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

Miguel A. Lopez as Juggernaut Pilot – Originally playing a Tusken Raider in The Mandalorian season 2 premiere, Miguel A. Lopez returns as a Juggernaut pilot in this week’s episode. He was also in Agents of Shield.

Barry Lowin as Shoretrooper – Mainly playing a double for Din, Lowin portrays a Shoretrooper in “The Believer.”

Katy O’Brian as Comms Officer – Katy O’Brian reprises her role as Comms Officer who provides Moff Gideon updates. Among her other TV credits include Black Lightning and Westworld.

Richard Brake as Valin Hess – Portraying Imperial die-hard Valin Hess is Richard Brake, who’s known for his roles in Ray Donovan, Game of Thrones, and Grimm.

Taeho De Vitto as Village Kid – Taeho De Vitto from Colony plays the Village Kid in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7.
