Liam Neeson as Jim Hanson

The Academy Award-nominated actor from Northern Ireland enjoyed success early in his career starring alongside Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins in The Bounty and Robert De Niro and Jeremy Irons in The Mission. Liam Neeson’s breakout role came as Oskar Schindler in Schindler’s List, the 1994 Best Picture winner. He stars as Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and the legendary villain Henri Ducard/Ra’s al Ghul in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises. Neeson became a certified action star with a trio of performances as Brian Mills in the Taken trilogy.

However, the Canadian-born actress is perhaps best known for her recurring role as Lagertha in History Channel’s hit series Vikings. Legendary shield-maiden and wife to Viking king Ragnar Lothbrok, Lagertha appears in more episodes than any other character.

Katheryn Winnick co-stars in The Marksman as Sarah Pennington, daughter of Neeson’s Jim Hanson. Pennington, a police officer, attempts to dissuade her father from taking matters into his own hands.

Juan Pablo Raba as Maurico

The Colombian-born actor began his career on television in his home country and Venezuela before gaining international recognition in 2014 with his role as Gustavo Gaviria in Netflix’s Narcos. On the big screen, Raba’s credits include The 33, Shot Caller, 7 Days in Entebbe, and a prominent role as head of a drug-trafficking syndicate in Peppermint.

Juan Pablo Raba plays ruthless cartel leader Maurico in The Marksman. He and his assassins cross the Mexican border and relentlessly pursue Miguel into the United States.

Jacob Perez as Miguel

Jacob Perez previously appeared in a trio of shorts, beginning with his debut in 2019’s Snoozefest. The young actor has also appeared in the comedy web series Stop the Bleeding!

Jacob Perez makes his feature film debut in The Marksman as Miguel, an 11-year-old Mexican boy who finds himself the target of cartel assassins. The young boy must rely on Jim Hanson for safe passage through the United States.

The Marksman Supporting Cast

Teresa Ruiz as Rosa: Teresa Ruiz is an internationally renowned actress from Mexico. One of her earliest film roles came opposite Jennifer Lopez and Martin Sheen in Bordertown. She has also appeared in the television series The Last Ship and the Netflix original series Narcos: Mexico. Teresa Ruiz plays Rosa, Miguel’s mother, in The Marksman.

Dylan Kenin as Randall Brennan: The southwest United States is a familiar film setting for Dylan Kenin, whose credits include Hell or High Water and the Delta team leader in Sicario. He’s also appeared in Terminator Salvation and Only the Brave.

Luce Rains as Everett Crawford: Luce Rains has appeared in over 100 film and television productions, working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. A horseman and western enthusiast, Rains’ most notable roles include 3:10 to Yuma and the Best Picture winner No Country for Old Men, where he plays one of villain Anton Chigurh’s many victims.
