The Masked Singer: What We Know About Jenny McCarthy’s Chicago Home

The hit show The Masked Singer debuted in January 2019, and we have information to share about show judge Jenny McCarthy’s Chicago home. Before she was on The Masked Singer, Jenny racked up a long list of entertainment industry credits, including stints on Charmed and My Name is Earl. Over the years, she’s accumulated an estimated net worth of $25 million, which includes the wealth of her husband, Donnie Wahlberg.

When she’s not guessing the identities of singers in head-to-toe costumes (some of whom are very rich, with fancy houses of their own), Jenny lives in a St. Charles mansion in Chicago, Illinois. In 2015, McCarthy and her husband moved into the home. Her spouse is a New Kids on the Block star. Donnie also has acting credits in notable projects, such as the acclaimed series, Band of Brothers. After Jenny and Donnie moved into their home, they started renovating it, and they haven’t stopped. Jenny was raised on Chicago’s South Side, so she loves living in her hometown.

The Tudor-style home has five bedrooms. Jenny reportedly fell in love with it as soon as she saw it. Her husband Donnie knew just from the look on her face that it was the right house for them. The home is accented by art, chic furnishings, and personal touches, including Donnie’s boy band memorabilia. Outside, the house has a pool with a waterslide. The home’s kitchen is a place where the family enjoys a variety of cereals, according to Donnie. It features white cabinets, a white stone wall, and stainless steel appliances. In the center of the room is a large island with a butcher’s block. While this area may be used for preparing food, it’s also great for romantic moments. Designed by John Wolf, the kitchen has a sink with a golden faucet and a silver tile backdrop. Fresh flowers add beauty to the elegant kitchen. Outside the kitchen is a large white photo that features the words, “Start each day with a grateful heart.” Jenny looks at it every morning because it reminds her that she is lucky to have met her husband. The couple spent over $1 million renovating the large luxury home’s family room, where artwork by Francine Turk and family photos are displayed. According to Jenny, the piano was the first addition to the room and influenced the overall decor theme. A piano is perfect for a music man like Donnie. The family room is also a great place for Jenny to listen to his tunes while sitting on one of many stylish sofas. Off to the side is a pair of black French doors with “D” and “J” handles. Donnie’s home office can be found behind a pair of custom Louis Vuitton doors and it is decorated with memorabilia from his entire career, including a New Kids on the Block (his younger brother Mark was briefly a member but left the band) magazine cover. There is also a Billboard Top 100 featuring the band’s hit, “Good Vibrations.” Among the awards, records, and sports jerseys decorating the walls, there is art given to him by fans. It’s mounted on the wall in his office. 

Musician Mark McGrath was revealed in week 6, contradicting Jenny’s guess (she guessed surfer Kelly Slater). With eight competitors remaining, Jenny was able to balance her time. She filmed The Masked Singer in Los Angeles and also managed to spend time at her Chicago home. While the traveling may make for a very busy schedule, Jenny is grateful for her life.
