The Morning Show is a new series on Apple TV+ with Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell. This comedy drama gives a behind the scenes look at the creation of a morning news show, and it’ll be full of dynamic stories and characters. While this show is being released slowly, a few episodes at a time, we thought we’d make a list of what to binge before you get your fill of this highly anticipated show. If you love Jennifer Aniston as much we do, we think you better catch up on her best films before you see her back on the television screen. Aniston has left TV ever since her infamous role as Rachel Green, so we better give a proper nod to all of her Hollywood films. Here are 10 Jennifer Aniston flicks to watch before you binge The Morning Show, ranked from newest to most classic.

10 Mother’s Day (2016)

Jennifer Aniston stars alongside Kate Hudson, Jason Sudeikis, and Julia Roberts in this romantic comedy. Not suprisingly – it’s Mother’s Day, and this story tells the stories of a few moms (and one single dad!) with very different, complicated lives in the lead up to the holiday. With ex-husbands, judgmental mothers, and new boyfriends, this movie is actually the hilarious and heartfelt film we could all get behind on Mother’s Day. Plus, the cast is hysterical, and this is definitely a wholesome treat.

9 Cake (2014)

This drama was definitely a different role for Jennifer Aniston. She plays Claire, who is part of a support group, dealing with her own very personal tragedy. However, she becomes fascinated by the suicide of a woman from the group. Starring alongside Anna Kendrick, Sam Worthington, Britt Robertson, and many more, this film is pure and honest, and will definitely pull at your heartstrings. Plus, it’s a different and impressive role for this wonderful actress. We definitely recommend it, so you can fall in love with Aniston all over again. We promise this role is brilliant.

8 We’re the Millers (2013)

We think you’re lying if you didn’t roll in laughter throughout the entirety of this film. A pot dealer creates a fake family of misfits to help move a shipment of weed from America into Mexico. Jason Sudeikis is the drug dealer, Jennifer Aniston is a stripper (the wife), Emma Roberts is a runaway teen (the daughter), and Will Poulter is a strange young man (the son). They rent an RV, and there’s a whole lot of humor and crises to be had by this family. Seriously, it’s absolutely hilarious, and Jen’s character has us floored. Spoiler: there’s a pole dancing scene.

7 Horrible Bosses (2011)

In this crime comedy, three friends with horrible bosses team up and conspire to murder them all. They hire a hit-man (Jamie Foxx), but it turns out that none of these quirky and simple men have what it takes to be murderers. The friends are Charlie Day, Jason Bateman, and Jason Sudeikis (hi again, Sudeikis). The bosses are Kevin Spacey, Colin Farell, and Jennifer Aniston. Seriously, how can you say no to this train-wreck comedy with a cast this incredible? Yeah, you can’t.

6 The Switch (2010)

Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston team up again for this one. Wally and Kassie are best friends, and Kassie decides to go through artificial insemination to have a baby. At her celebration party, with the sperm donor, a drunken Wally stumbles into the bathroom and angrily dumps the seed. What does he do? Naturally, he refills the bottle himself. Kassie moves away, and this doesn’t become clear until seven years later, when she moves back with her young son, who is eerily similar to Wally. Yikes, right? Funny and quirky, and all you could want from these two actors. This film is a hilarious tale of friendship.

5 The Bounty Hunter (2010)

We could watch romantic comedies with Jennifer Aniston all day long. This one is no exception. Gerard Butler is a bounty hunter, paid to bring in suspects. For his next job, he’s tasked to bring in his ex-wife – a reporter working to cover up a murder. This starts off hilarious, tricky, and totally complicated, and these two end up on quite the journey. You can’t resist these two, and we promise this film is actually incredibly funny while being pretty intense and entertaining.

4 He’s Just Not That Into You (2009)

We couldn’t have resisted putting this romantic comedy on this list. Starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, Ben Affleck, Busy Phillips, Kevin Connolly, Drew Barrymore, and our leading gal, Jennifer Aniston, do we really need to say more? This is a classic movie with a ton of interconnecting stories that takes you on a cringy and hilarious roller-coaster ride. This drama is all about romance and the complicated human mind, and boy it’s interesting up there.

3 Marley & Me (2008)

If you love dogs and you haven’t seen this movie, do you really love dogs? Starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, this couple adopts the cutest, but most naughty, little pup. This comedy drama is wholesome, and this rambunctious pup soon becomes a pretty large dog. It is a hilarious and heartfelt tale of family, pets, and well, loving it all despite its complications. You’ll probably be crying by the end, fair warning, but this is still a Jennifer Aniston flick we’ll never forget.

2 Bruce Almighty (2003)

Throwing it back to 2003, can you get any more of a classic Jim Carrey film than Bruce Almighty? Well, Jennifer Aniston is his beautiful co-star. Bruce likes to complain about God, and one day he is suddenly given powers to teach him how difficult it is to run the world. Let’s be honest, this film is a classic, and we’re not sure you can enjoy any Jennifer Aniston project if you haven’t seen this one. Plus, it has Morgan Freeman and Steve Carell (who you can also catch in The Morning Show).

1 Picture Perfect (1997)

This is probably the most classic romantic comedy Jennifer Aniston has ever been in. She plays a young advertising executive, whose life becomes pretty complicated when she tries to impress her boss by pretending to be engaged to a man she just met. Starring alongside Olympia Dukakis and Kevin Bacon, rom-coms don’t get more classic and *picture perfect* than this one. Seriously, we love you, Jen.

After you’ve binged these comedies, romances, and dramas, you’ll be more than prepared to watch Jennifer Aniston absolutely slay on her new role as a news anchor on The Morning Show. We can hardly wait to binge the entire series.
