Kelly Kapoor is the chattiest member in The Office and often finds herself in the funniest of situations due to the fact that she just seems like she cannot stop talking. Kelly considers herself to be the it-girl of the office. She thinks she is the hottest, best dressed, and always up to date with the latest trends, gossip, and news. Kelly also seemingly likes to act dumb even though she is actually incredibly smart and can list off a bunch of random trivia and is excellent at her job.

Kelly is an on-again, off-again relationship with Ryan Howard which proves time and time again to be an extremely inappropriate and toxic coupling. However, the two bounce off each other non-stop to be one of the funniest duos in the series. Kelly was in the series from season one all the way to the first episode of season nine when she left to move to Miami. Kelly made her final appearance in the finale of the series as she returned for Angela and Dwight’s wedding.

10 Is Really Good At DDR

In the episode “Happy Hour,” Kelly and Ryan attend the company happy hour together which appears to be at a barcade. Erin and Andy, the newly formed couple trying to keep things still under wraps, find Kelly and Ryan playing on the Dance Dance Revolution machine. The pair are holding hands, and moving incredibly fast to indicate that they are on a pretty hard difficulty. Andy and Erin end up talking to the couple and asking them a million questions, distracting them, and causing them to lose the game. Kelly then picks up a small amount of tickets from the machine as the pair ignore Andy and Erin to go play their next game.

9 Marries Dr. Ravi

Dr. Ravi was Cici’s pediatrician, and in an effort to pull Ryan and Kelly apart once and for all, Pam decided to try to hook Ravi up with Kelly. And it worked. Ryan ended up giving Kelly an ultimatum in which Kelly chose Ravi and the two became engaged and moved away with one another. In the series finale (which is about two years later), it is revealed that Dr. Ravi is now her husband as the two show up together. Of course, this is all put into question when Kelly ends up running away with Ryan.

8 Stole Her Ex-Boyfriend’s Father’s Boat

In “Lecture Circuit Part 1,” Dwight ends up discovering a little bit about Kelly’s past while searching through her personal record to find her birthday which was the day before but he and Jim, who were now in charge of the Party Planning Committee, forgot.

It turns out that Kelly was in juvenile detention for almost two years after she stole her boyfriend’s father’s boat after he dumped her. Which just sounds like the most Kelly thing to be arrested for.

7 Has Four Siblings

Kelly has four siblings, three living sisters and one who passed away. Her three living sisters are all younger than her and laughed when they met Ryan instead of speaking to him. They all spoke about him in a language he couldn’t understand until Kelly came to pull him away. Her parents also met during an arranged marriage and only met once the night before their wedding. They have been married for 30 years.

6 Really Likes Bridget Jones

Kelly has brought up Bridget Jones’s Diary on multiple occasions and seems to truly resonate with the quirky, love-struck British woman. Kelly’s personality occasionally resembles her and in “Product Recall,” while training Angela, Oscar, and Kevin, Kelly mentions that she occasionally likes to pretend to be different people on the phone, using different names and accents, most notably, Bridget Jones.

5 Married Ryan

In episode 15 of season seven, “The Search,” the episode begins by Kelly and Ryan leaving the annex together, with news to tell the office. Kelly shows off a ring indicating she and Ryan had gotten married, and after everyone shows their surprise and joy, Kelly throws the ring on the floor announcing they got divorced over the weekend. This lead everyone to ask even more questions. Apparently, after having some drinks, Ryan and Kelly decided on a whim to get married. The following weekend, they had a deeply romantic and beautiful trip in which Ryan decided he wanted a divorce. This moment made everyone question so much, but it was never brought up again and the two remained dating anyway.

4 Tunes Herself Out

Kelly mentions in a talking-head scene that she knows she talks a lot, so in order to continue on with her hobby of talking, she learned how to tune herself out. This has caused Kelly to say somethings that people may ask her about or agree with and she will have no recollection of what she said, as she wasn’t actively paying attention as she spoke. Kelly surely is deeply skilled.

3 Gave Darryl An Ultimatum

It becomes pretty forgettable that Kelly dated anyone other than Ryan as the two were like magnets for one another, never really able to just let go. But in between one of their many breakups, Kelly is actually able to (sort of) move on. She starts becoming interested in Darryl, who likes her back.

It isn’t before long that Kelly starts showing off her crazy side, however. Darryl opts to hang out with his daughter instead of going on a date with Kelly, which drives her wild. She tells Darryl that he must choose between the two of them, and of course, Darryl calmly chooses his daughter. Strangely enough, the two continue to date after this once Darryl gives Kelly a mature talking to.

2 Miami, Ohio Not Miami, Florida

When Dr. Ravi and Kelly got engaged, they also decided to move to Miami for Ravi’s job. Kelly was incredibly excited to become a Miami girl, attempting to buy all new clothes for her new tropical, beach filled life. But Kelly had the wrong Miami. The entire time Kelly was excited, she had thought she was moving to Miami, Florida, getting ride of all her coats and throwing them at those in the office telling them to “enjoy the snow.” However, she and Ravi were not moving to Florida, but rather would actually be moving to Miami, Ohio.

1 Didn’t Eat A Tape Worm

The beginning of season five started off with “Weight Loss,” a two-part episode that featured an office-wide weight loss challenge. Some characters took it more seriously than others and were doing everything in their power to lose weight. Creed and Kelly are the most notable of the pair. One of the talking-head scenes from this episode of Kelly is actually one of the biggest Office memes to date. In the end of the episode, Kelly tells the cameras that she has ingested a tapeworm and goes on to explain the process and tells the audience that she got it from Creed who said it was from Mexico. Her clip ends an immediately cuts to Creed who says “That wasn’t a tapeworm” just before the episode ends. So the question begs, what did Kelly actually eat?
