The Office may have ended back in 2013 but it’s not forgotten. With a boss as iconic as Michael Scott and a crew as…let’s say “unique” as Dunder Mifflin, this show will be remembered for a lifetime.

While there are oodles of underrated moments throughout the show’s nine seasons, moments spent around cars were some of the funniest and spontaneous ones. The camera crew caught Michael one-on-one in the car multiple times but we’ve also seen concussions, raccoons, and accidents all better than the last. Maybe transportation plays a much larger role in this series than fans originally thought? Let’s take a look at 10 of the funniest Office moments centered around cars.

10 IT’S BRITNEY, B****

In the episode “Two Weeks,” Michael has quit Dunder Mifflin and is wrapping up for two weeks as the office’s regional manager. In the cold opening, we see Michael drive up in his red PT Cruiser jamming out to Lady Gaga. He turns down the radio and says “It’s Britney, B****. And I’m back in the form of a new company. The Michael Scott Paper Company.”

There are so many hilarious moments in this short scene. For starters, he’s listening to Lady Gaga while making a Britney Spears reference. He’s also cruising around in a convertible in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Watching the scene back, it almost looks like Steve Carell is about to break out of character but he sticks the landing.

9 WHEN DWIGHT HITS THE POLE

In “The Injury,” Michael calls into the office and asks for someone to come pick him up from home and bring him to work. He claims there was an accident and he’s burned his foot. After some intense prying, it turns out that Michael has stepped on a George Foreman Grill and cannot put any pressure on his foot. He begs for anyone but Dwight to come to his rescue but Dwight already heard too much. He jumped in his car (with the office watching from the window) and plowed straight into a pole where he proceeded to throw up from the impact. But did that stop him from driving? Nope. He got back in the car to save Michael — vomit and all.

8 THAT TIME WHEN MICHAEL DROVE INTO THE LAKE

In “Dunder Mifflin Infinity,” Michael and Dwight decide to do things the old fashioned way and visit former customers by giving them gift baskets. It was their hope that the gift baskets would be a grand gesture, inviting them to give Dunder Mifflin another shot. However, their plan didn’t work out.

Not only were they turned down, but Michael got confused by his GPS and drove right into a lake. Dwight tried to stop him but he was dead set on staying loyal to technology. His car sank, Dwight and Michael swam to safety, and they headed back to their former client to take their gift basket back…

7 DON’T MESS WITH DWIGHT & PAM

Art is a real outlet for Pam and she rarely gets to do it, so when Nellie asked Pam to paint a Dunder Mifflin mural as part of her special project, Pam jumped at the opportunity. The only problem was, not everyone was a fan of the mural she was painting.

One warehouse worker defaced her work by painting butts on it, which prompted Pam to retaliate. She found the man’s truck and teamed up with Dwight to deface the one thing that was important to him. This led to an actual physical altercation, landing in the dismissal of one of the crew members, Brian.

6 ‘WE’RE JUST GONNA CALL A TOW TRUCK’

In the episode “Prince Family Paper,” Michael is asked to go undercover to try and steal a local competitor’s client list. Michael sees the exciting opportunity and brings Dwight along as his accomplice.

With both men acting like complete strangers, Michael was able to grab the company’s list while befriending them in the process. But as Michael is about to drive away, he begins feeling bad for what he did and puts the car in drive instead of reverse, making him drive over a curb and ruining his car. What’s worse is the Prince family came out to help Michael and Dwight, making him feel immoral.

5 MICHAEL TRYING TO PARALLEL PARK

To be fair, this moment follows the “I’m Britney, B****” scene but it’s so good on its own that it needs its own entry.

After Michael tells the camera crew that he’s creating his own paper company, he tries to act suave and parallel park his car while listening to Lady Gaga. But as he reverses towards the curb in horrific form, he gives up and says “I’m not gonna make this one,” as he drives away to look for another spot. As the camera zooms out, we can see that the space Michael was trying to park in was large enough to fit two cars… Even with his small PT Cruiser, this man can’t park.

4 MICHAEL CLEANING OUT HIS CAR FOR PURSE GIRL

In the episode “Hot Girl,” Amy Adams guest stars as a woman named Katie, who stops by Dunder Mifflin to sell purses. As a new, beautiful woman, every guy in the office tried to pick her up but only Jim succeeded. Before Jim asked Katie out on a date, she agreed for Michael to give her a lift home after work. This led to Michael panicking and cleaning out his car with the help of Ryan. In his car, we find out he eats a ton of Filet-O-Fishes and blue “flavored” power drinks. After asking how many Filet-O-Fishes he eats, Michael quips “That’s over several months, Ryan” in an annoyed tone.

3 WHEN ANGELA WAS SMALL ENOUGH TO FIT IN THE TRUNK

Fans of Dwight and Angela were ecstatic when they agreed to get married in the ninth season. But on the night before their wedding, Mose “kidnapped” Angela as it was a tradition in the Schrute household. Dwight and the gang couldn’t find Angela until they checked the trunk of Mose’s car and out popped Angela!

2 MICHAEL SCOTT PAPER COMPANY & A KOREAN CHURCH

To make the Michael Scott Paper Company more valid, they bought an old van to act as their delivery shuttle. The only problem is, the van had words written in Korean on the side that no one knew what they meant. Pam assumed it was for a church because whenever they stopped, people would silently hop in their van, hoping to go to church. Pam tried telling these passengers that they weren’t going to the church but it never worked. This hilarious fail just added to the complexities of the Michael Scott Paper Company.

1 ‘THE DUEL’

In “The Duel,” Dwight and Andy find out they were both sleeping with Angela at the same time. Obviously, Angela was engaged to Andy and shouldn’t have been sleeping with another man but she told Dwight she wasn’t sleeping with Andy. The two men decided to duel it out for Angela’s heart and the winner kept Angela. But when Dwight went down to the parking lot to fight Andy, all he found was a note taped to the bushes… From afar, the office saw Andy slowly moving his car to pin Dwight against his car and the bushes. In short: he was trying to quietly run him over, causing a comical and slightly disturbing moment.
