Bravo’s The Real Housewives franchise started off in one city and has grown to 10. With Salt Lake City as the next installment, there are plenty of women attached to the show that Bravo fans can’t get enough of.

Although the women are called “real housewives,” not all are married and not all stay at home. Most of these ladies are well-educated and run their own empires. And due to the success of the show, even more opportunities have opened up for the ladies. So, who are the most educated housewives on the show and where did they attend? Keep reading to find out!

10 Taylor Armstrong: RHOBH

Taylor Armstrong was on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the first three seasons. During her time, we learned about her strained marriage and saw her in some epic catfights. Nowadays, her image is being used for that iconic cat meme.

Memes aside, Taylor Armstrong is incredibly educated. She has her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Master of Health Sciences from the University of Oklahoma. She also created her own e-commerce firm after college.

9 Bethenny Frankel: RHONY

Fans of  The Real Housewives of New York City have watched Bethenny Frankel grow in front of their eyes. When she was on season 1 through 3, she was a young chef trying to get her SkinnyGirl line off the ground. Nowadays, she has a global empire and continues to improve and better her business.

She attended Boston University for two years before transferring to New York University where she studied communications and psychology. Due to Frankel’s success in business and in entertainment, it’s obvious her degrees helped her become the boss lady she is today.

Her resume is quite impressive. She worked as a journalist for ABC News and produced stories of her own for various news shows before writing her own books.

Carole was a totally different kind of housewife in terms of education. She attended CUNY Hunter College where she got her Bachelor’s in English Literature and continued her education at NYU to get her MBA.

7 Kim Zolciak-Biermann: RHOA

Kim Zolciak-Biermann became known as the “woman with a lot of wigs” when she appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She left the series after five seasons but with a personality like her’s, she was given her own spin-off. We watched her get married to former NFL star Kroy Biermann and watched the couple have more kids.

Kim’s entire life has been in front of the camera and she’s not shy to talk about her past. She went to the University of Connecticut where she obtained her nursing license and did so in both Connecticut and Atlanta. Nowadays, Kim is doing just fine without nursing but it’s still impressive.

6 Cary Deuber: RHOD

Cary Deuber was on The Real Housewives of Dallas since the beginning but left in the third season. While she was on the show, Cary was creating her own laser center since she has a background in the medical field.

Besides being married to a plastic surgeon, Cary is also a nurse, who used her degree to start her own business to help others. She received her Bachelor’s in Science from Baylor University and then got her Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Degree from UCLA.

5 Shannon Beador: RHOC

Shannon Beador joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County in season 9. She had a rocky start with tough friendships and a divorce but she has now made it to the top and seems to be better than ever. She’s one determined woman, which makes sense because she went to the University of South Carolina before attending law school. While it’s not known what school Shannon attended, it was discussed in a Twitter feud with castmate Emily Simpson that Shannon allegedly dropped out.

4 Ana Quincoces: RHOM

Before Bravo canceled The Real Housewives of Miami, viewers got to know Ana Quincoces. She was a main character in the second season who prided herself in her professional endeavors compared to the other ladies. She was much more than a pretty face; she was educated with goals of her own outside of the Housewives franchise.

Before becoming a well-known chef, Ana used to be a lawyer. She went to Florida International University where she received her Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and Corrections. She took her education further and got her law degree from Nova Southeastern University but years after practicing law, she took another path, following her passion to become a chef.

3 Aviva Drescher: RHONY

Aviva Drescher was on The Real Housewives of New York City for two seasons and caused quite a stir when she took off her prosthetic leg and slammed it on a table in the middle of an argument. And while her leg caused quite the commotion, fans should really be focusing on how brilliant Aviva is.

She studied Art in Foreign Language at Vassar College where she got her Bachelor’s degree and then attended New York University for her Master’s Degree in French. But Aviva didn’t stop there — she went to the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law for a law degree.

2 Emily Simpson: RHOC

Emily Simpson is relatively new to The Real Housewives of Orange County but she’s a welcomed change. With the departure of Vicki and Tamra, having Emily around with Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd is the drama RHOC fans have been looking for.

What’s most impressive about Emily is her incredible career. She went to Miami University and got her Bachelor’s degree in Education before attending Thomas Jefferson Law School where she passed two state bar exams on the first try. Emily definitely used her knowledge of the law to help out Gina with her legal issues.

1 Phaedra Parks: RHOA

Phaedra Parks (aka the Queen of Shade) has been on The Real Housewives of Atlanta since the third season. She left in season 9 but she certainly made her mark with a peach in her hand.

Phaedra made it clear that she was a force to be reckoned with. Besides being a wife and a mother, she was a very successful businesswoman who worked hard to be a top dog. She graduated from Wesleyan College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications before getting a law degree from the University of Georgia. If becoming a lawyer wasn’t impressive enough, she later became a licensed mortician and got her Juris Doctorate.
