Money is never much of an issue for organized crime players and while watching The Sopranos, it’s not surprising to see some of the characters with high-end vehicles. While the likes of Paulie and Silvio prefer to keep it modest, Christopher and the mob wives don’t spare a coin when it comes to acquiring wheels.

During the 7 seasons, a variety of cars are featured. Some only appear briefly while some compete with the main characters for screen time. And it all has nothing to do with advertising because the producers allegedly never took product placement money. The brands must forever be grateful for this.

10 1999 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430: $8000

Before he becomes a made guy, Christopher moves around New Jersey with this German car. The model appears again when Carmela visits the Globe Mercedes dealership to get her own car fixed. Saleswoman Gloria Trillo—who also happens to be one of Tony’s mistresses—offers her a lift back home in one of the test vehicles, a Mercedes CLK.

Tony later finds out and tries to break things off with Gloria but that turns out to be very complicated. The incident is the reason Tony doesn’t get a Mercedes of his own. However, any car lover can get one at an affordable price today.

9 2005 Chrysler 300: $9000

The Chrysler is owned by DiMeo Crime Family street soldier Benny Fazio. Though the specific model is relatively cheap now, it definitely did cost a fortune when it was first introduced to the market, meaning even low-level mobsters made a fortune every month.

Benny begins working for newly appointed Capo, Christopher, after getting out of jail and quickly follows his boss’ flamboyant ways. Soon, Benny becomes a trusted friend to Tony himself and is even seen coming to the house to pick him up.

8 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV: $10,000

Tony Soprano’s white Escalade has the most screen time out of all cars in the series. He gets in Season 5’s “In Camelot,” replacing the black Escalade he briefly owned. The black Escalade had been totaled in an accident.

Tony goes on to use the car for the rest of the series, meaning he was deeply in love with it (he was rich enough to afford new cars frequently). Before settling on the Escalade, he had toyed with the idea of getting a Mercedes as a replacement for the Chevrolet Suburban he started with. He reconsidered after the Gloria Trillo incident. Fans of the show will be glad to know that the Cady isn’t that expensive at the moment.

7 2002 Ford Thunderbird: $12,500

Thanks to Christopher’s generosity, Adriana acquires a Thunderbird to keep up with her status as a soon-to-be mob wife. The car appears a couple of times in Season 4 and Season 5.

It’s unclear what happens to the car after Adriana gets whacked by Silvio for being an informant. The presumption would be that Christopher simply sold it. Any fan that’s seeking to relive the events of the series through the eyes of Adriana can get the car for as low as 12k.

6 2005 Porsche Cayenne: $15,000

Tony buys his wife Carmella a Porsche Cayenne, though she doesn’t seem too delighted at the moment, reminding Tony that he should still follow up on the spec house. Later on, she appears to appreciate it more as she flaunts it to Ginny, who is struggling financially after the incarceration of her husband Johnny.

Carmela then appears to be embarrassed when Angie says she bought a car with her own money, implying that she is independent while Carmela isn’t. Well, the car might have been expensive at the time of purchase but it isn’t too out of range right now for anyone seeking to buy it.

5 2003 Hummer H2: $18,000

Christopher buys the H2 in Season 5. He appears to value it very much as he admonishes Tony Blundetto for putting his feet up on the dashboard, claiming it’s a $50,000 vehicle.

The young mobster shows up at the Bing again with the Hummer when he comes to confront Tony about a rumored affair with his fiancé Adriana. Though the affair didn’t happen, Christopher strongly believed that it did. The H2 is still very much available for purchase today.

4 2006 Chevrolet Corvette C6: $19,000

This is the car that makes Carmela think about her own life. She can’t stand the fact that Angie has bought it with her own money yet she has to rely on Tony to buy things for her.

After her husband Big Pussy’s death, Angie becomes a serial entrepreneur. She successfully runs Pussy’s Auto Body and also becomes a shylock by putting out money on the street via Patsy Parisi and Benny Fazio. This enables her to live a comfortable life. The car is still a catch in 2020 and once can get it for just under $20k.

3 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4: $20,000

The car is owned by the attorney Alan Sapinsly. Tony meets him in the Season 4 episode “Whitecaps,” seeking to buy a beach house from him in the shortest time possible.

It turns out there is another interested party but he’s having difficulty obtaining a home loan, so Tony convinces Alan to sell it to him. However. Tony later changes his mind, angering Alan. When Alan refuses to let him out of the sale, Tony’s men intimidate him by playing loud music outside the house. Alan’s kind of model can be bought for about 20k.

2 2002 Maserati Coupé: $25,000

New York gangster Johnny “Sack” Sacrimoni purchases this good-looking ride in Season 5 to celebrate his ascension to boss of the Lupertazzi Crime Family. Sadly, Sack’s reign is short-lived as he is arrested and given a lengthy prison sentence. To prevent his assets from being seized by the FBI, his wife Ginny sells some of them.

She sells the Maserati to Christopher, who buys it for $25,000 yet Sack claimed to have bought it for $99,000. Quite a loss but better than nothing. Sadly, the FBI takes the car from Christopher because it’s against the law for Ginny to sell Sack’s assets. At the moment, the car costs right about the same amount Christopher bought it for.

1 1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible: $27,000

The car belongs to Tony’s father Johnny Boy Soprano. Since Johnny is dead during the events of the series, the car is seen through flashbacks in the first and second seasons.

Johnny uses it during a chase with authorities. He is also seen driving Livia around New Jersey using the car. In another scene, a young Tony Soprano can be seen playing around the car in the neighborhood. Even by modern-day standards, the car is still quite a catch. And it doesn’t come too cheap either.
