The world of DCeased is only beginning, with the heroes having led the survivors of DC’s Anti-Life apocalypse to a new home planet. But what about the… not so heroic characters? Their story will finally be told in the three-part DCeased: Unkillables. And judging by the official details and artwork now revealed, fans can guess exactly which corrupted Justice Leaguer they’ll have to defeat if they hope to survive.

After the first series earned critical, commercial, and fan acclaim — no surprise, considering DCeased‘s unforgettable moments — writer Tom Taylor is getting the chance to revisit his post-apocalyptic DC Universe. Yes, it is still overrun with the undead, transformed by a techno-virus form of the Anti-Life Equation. But putting the antiheroes into the spotlight, it’s promising a new perspective. And as the only people left on Earth to witness Wonder Woman’s descent into a bloodthirsty monster, what a memorable perspective it promises to be.

As revealed in DC’s April solicitations, DCeased: Unkillables #3 looks to build to an incredible conclusion. With killers like Jason Todd and Deathstroke joining forces for a sprint to the finish and a countless number of other DC villains to call upon, the cover art shows all their bullets, blades, and bloodlust may be for naught. Take a look:

The cover art by Howard Porter shows the zombified Wonder Woman no weaker than she was pre-corruption, holding Jason Todd in one hand while crushing his Red Hood helmet in the other. The villains littered behind the pair are expected to make up the “Anti-Suicide Squad,” apparently already being vanquished by the undead Amazonian. Will Red Hood and Deathstroke, along with some of the DC Universe’s hardest villains and antiheroes, be able to save “life,” the only commodity left on Earth? The answers will be revealed in this final (for now) chapter of the “what if” version of the DC Universe.
