The Voice coach Ariana Grande was so in awe of her fellow coach Kelly Clarkson’s vocal ability that she pretended to walk off the stage. Kelly and Ariana are always praising each other for their skills. Kelly has mentioned that she loves Ariana’s coaching style on the show and likes that the “thank u, next” singer focuses so much on vocal health. She’s also complimented Ariana’s personality and her sense of humor. Kelly even featured Ariana on her new Christmas album, When Christmas Comes Around… For fans of both the powerhouse singers, watching them be friends on The Voice is a lot of fun.

Ariana is a great addition to the show, and fans love watching her interact with all the coaches. Besides her relationship with Kelly, Ariana and Blake Shelton are also fan-favorites to watch. While the two mess with each other a lot, they shared a sweet moment in a recent episode. While on set, Blake made sure to check if Ariana was cold in her outfit and asked if she wanted to turn her seat heater on. Ariana then joked about not wanting the beads on her costume to get ruined from the heat. Fans loved the interaction and thought Blake and Ariana’s conversation was cute.

An episode of Jimmy Fallon’s new game show, That’s My Jam, featured all The Voice coaches as guests. In a segment called Mixtape Medley Showdown, Kelly and Ariana faced off by taking turns singing hit pop songs like “Oops!…I Did It Again” by Britney Spears and Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know.” “I’m done for,” Ariana said before they even started singing. The one song that had Ariana thinking she was going to lose the competition was Kelly’s rendition of “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. The “positions” singer pretended to walk away from the competition and even bowed down to praise Kelly. The two singers harmonized at the end of the song. Although some fans of The Voice aren’t happy with Ariana’s coaching style, it seems like most fans love watching her perform. Especially after watching Kelly and Ariana together, fans seem really excited to see more of them. “Kelly was fantastic. Ariana was fantastic. Their harmonies were fantastic. I need more of this!” one fan wrote about their Showdown (via Good Housekeeping). Another added, “We knew they were amazing before but THIS is just breathtaking.” Both Kelly and Ariana have amazing voices, and fans can listen to them sing together on their Christmas duet, “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me.”

Kelly and Ariana are known for their vocals, so it was fun to see them sing together, even if they were facing off against each other. They both have strong teams on The Voice as well, so either one could end up victorious in the end. Whoever wins at the end of The Voice season 21, hopefully fans will get to see more of Ariana and Kelly together.
