The Voice: Blake Shelton’s Salary & How Much Money He’s Made On Show

As an original coach who’s been on The Voice since season 1, Blake Shelton is paid a high salary on the show and has made a substantial amount of money throughout the years. When Blake first joined The Voice all the way back in 2011, the series was just an attempt from NBC to compete with the likes of American Idol and The X Factor on Fox. With such a large paycheck coming from The Voice alone, it isn’t very surprising that Blake Shelton is one of the richest country stars in the world. Considering that he’s been making $13 million per season for 10 seasons, Blake Shelton has already made a total of $130 million just from his The Voice salary over the years. When it comes to the music industry, Blake has sold as many as 10 million albums in his career. He also owns a franchise of restaurants called Ole Red that, as of 2021, operates four locations: Thishomingo, OK; Nashville, TN; Gatlingburg, TN; and Orlando, FL. Currently, Blake has a reported net worth of $100 million (via Celebrity Net Worth).

Alas, Blake Shelton might be the most loved coach on The Voice, but he is not the highest-paid coach on the show. That title would go to Ariana Grande, who’ll get paid a reported $20 million per season according to OK!. Despite Blake’s many years on the show, it is understandable why NBC is dropping that much money to get Ariana Grande – one of the most successful pop stars in the music biz today – as a coach on the series. On the other hand, it is possible that Ariana will only appear in one season, whereas Blake shows no sign of slowing down on the show.

Blake has dedicated a lot of his time to making The Voice the show that it is today, so it is only fair that he is getting paid accordingly. With such significant ratings for NBC, it is also likely that the network will keep producing new season of the show for many years to come.
