Overall, Miley Cyrus came into The Voice in order to soften up the impression she had left on certain casual fans that she had left behind her country origins and had actually become the persona she created for the Bangerz album. As such, her stint on The Voice fit right into the release of her 2017 album Younger Now, where Miley was seen “returning to her roots.” It also helped that Miley made a total of $26 million from her two times on the show.
