There’s some good news for fans of The Voice coach John Legend because he announced his upcoming Las Vegas residency. The R&B singer canceled his 2020 Bigger Love tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. During that time, fans were able to see him perform his new hit singles and covers on The Voice. Now fans will finally be able to see John perform during his shows in Sin City.

The “All of Me” singer has been a coach on The Voice since 2019, replacing singer Jennifer Hudson during season 16. John experienced major beginner’s luck as his contestant, Maelyn Jarmon, was crowned the winner of The Voice season 16. His victory added yet another win to his EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award winner) title. However, John has yet to bring home another win to the show. He is currently coaching his remaining team members, Jershika Maple and Joshua Vacanti, in hopes to win the season 21 title. Pop icon Ariana Grande joined The Voice this season, adding a different feel to the show. Ariana and John fought for the same contestants during the Blind Auditions and Knockouts since they have the same soulful taste in singers. When Joshua performed Frozen 2‘s “Into the Unknown” during his Blind Audition, John quickly used his block against Ariana, who eagerly wanted to turn her chair. She then attempted to use her block against John during Samara Brown’s audition but hit the block button just seconds after John had already turned his chair.
