The Voice: What Gwen Stefani’s Ex Gavin Rossdale Has Been Up In 2021

Gavin Rossdale was The Voice alum Gwen Stefani’s husband for 13 years, but she’s married to Blake Shelton now, and the show’s fans are curious about what Gavin is up to this year. They wonder if he’s feeling sad because his ex just had a big and glamourous wedding (she wore a gorgeous Vera Wang wedding dress) with Blake. Gwen and Blake wed on July 3, 2021. Gavin has also appeared on The Voice, in the UK, and in the USA, so he’s no stranger to reality TV singing competitions. He and Gwen share three sons, Kingston Rossdale, Zuma Rossdale, and Apollo Rossdale. Gwen and Gavin had an acrimonious split, thanks to allegations that he was involved with the family nanny Mindy Mann for years, while she helped to care for Gwen and Gavin’s children.

When Gwen tweeted that Gavin would be joining her on The Voice on July 14, 2014, no one suspected that the couple might have marital problems. They seemed happy together. However, there were problems under the glossy surface. In 2015, a scandal erupted when they announced their split. Gavin’s liaison with Mindy was allegedly discovered by another family nanny, who found racy messages and pics on an iPad that the children used, according to a source that talked to Us Weekly. The iPad was reportedly synced with Gavin’s phone. Gwen, who’d always openly adored her husband, was reportedly devastated. Whatever happened in their ill-fated union, which did produce wonderful children, she survived. So did Gavin.

The publication reported that Gavin eventually owned up to a flirtation with Mindy, but that alleged honesty wasn’t enough to save the marriage. Gwen wanted out. Both music stars went on with their lives, and although Gavin was humiliated by “the gross and lopsided specter of the crumbling of my marriage,” according to ET Online, he has kept working on his career, relationships, and music.

Gavin Rossdale Hangs Out With His Children

Gwen’s wedding (she loves to post pics of her and Blake on IG) took place the day before Independence Day. Gavin, who shares three sons with Gwen and also has a daughter of his own, model Daisy Lowe, celebrated the Fourth of July with a cute pic of him and his boys on the beach. Everyone was facing away from the camera. Gavin, who has 272k Instagram followers versus Gwen’s 11.8 million followers, is proud of his kids. He probably misses Gwen sometimes, as she was such a big part of his life for so long, but he seems to be living his best life. He loves being with his children.

Gavin Rossdale Honored Tom Jones

In June, Gavin posted a shot of him with iconic singer Tom Jones. In the snap, Gavin was dressed up and looking really happy. Tom smiled in his signature turtleneck sweater. Gavin said that he felt “love” for the older singer, and shared that he’s “grateful” for their connection. Clearly, Gavin has friends in high places. The two stars bonded while appearing on The Voice UK.

Cooking videos are all the rage, and rocker Gavin (just like David and Annie from 90 Day Fiancé) got in on the fun by preparing a vegan Bolognese dish on camera. He went all out, making the pasta from scratch. He’s a true gourmand who often posts about his culinary adventures. He loves feeding family and friends.

Gavin Gives His All To His Band, Bush

Known as an impossibly handsome alt-rocker back in the Grunge era, Gavin is still rocking… and looking good doing it. On the 2019 Altimate Tour, Bush brought down the house in Tampa, Florida. This year, he continues to work on music with his bandmates. Bush fans are legion and they gush over Gavin on his @gavinrossdale Instagram. While we are unlikely to see Gavin on The Voice USA anytime soon, we can keep up with his life by following him on IG.
