Amazon’s YA drama The Wilds is a bingeable all-female answer to The Lord of the Flies. The cast is full of generally unknown performers who have popped up in the stray indie and mainstream roles over the last few years. Here’s where you may know the cast of The Wilds season 1 from.

The show follows a group of teenage girls, most of whom are strangers, headed on a plane to what should be a peaceful retreat in Hawaii. The plane crashes mid-flight, stranding the girls on a deserted island. But as it turns out, the crash may not be an accident. As the girls get to know each other, they realize they may have more in common with one another than they thought.

There aren’t too many familiar faces in The Wilds season 1, which makes the show’s enticing storyline all the more impressive. Here’s a guide to the cast members of the Amazon show and where you may have seen them before.

Sophia Ali as Fatin Jadmani

Sophia Ali appears in The Wilds as Fatin, the outspoken rich girl in the group of survivors. Most notably, Ali has recently in a two-year stint on Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Dahlia Qadri. She also played Penelope in Truth or Dare.

Shannon Berry as Dot Campbell

Shannon Berry plays the tough and capable Dot Campbell on The Wilds. Berry appeared as Brody Jordan in Offspring. She also was Emme in Hunters.

Jenna Clause as Martha Blackburn

Jenna Clause plays Martha Blackburn, the mild-mannered best friend to Toni. She known as the unrelenting optimist of the survivors, even despite the circumstances. Clause is still relatively new to the scene. She appeared in You’re It as Patty and The Fury Inside Me as Linda.

Reign Edwards as Rachel Reid

Reign Edwards plays Rachel Reid, a competitive diver whose life revolves around her sport. She is also twin sister to Nora. Edwards played Nicole in The Bold and the Beautiful. Edwards also played Leanna Martin in MacGyver and Melody in Snowfall.

Mia Healey as Shelby Goodkind

Mia Healey plays Shelby Goodkind in The Wilds season 1. Shelby is a devout Christian who’s a regular on the beauty pagent circuit. The Wilds is Healey’s first acting credit.

Helena Howard as Nora Reid

Helena Howard plays Nora Reid. Nora is Rachel’s twin sister and is the quieter of the two. Howard started as Madeline in Madeline’s Madeline. She was also Aisha in Don’t Look Deeper.

Erana James as Toni Shalifoe

Erana James plays Toni Shalifoe in The Wilds. She’s one of the survivors and has a bit of an edge to her. Toni is best friends with Martha, who she lovingly refers to as Marty. James played Kahu in Golden Boy. She was also Laura in The Changeover.

Sarah Pidgeon as Leah Rilke

Sarah Pidgeon plays Leah Rilke in The Wilds. Leah is among the group of survivors stranded on the island. Almost right off the bat, she becomes paranoid that things are not as they seem. Pidgeon doesn’t have many acting credits to her name, but she did appear on an episode of Gotham as Jane Cartwright.

David Sullivan as Daniel Farber

David Sullivan (right) appears in The Wilds as Dr. Daniel Farber. The first scene of the show already the girls make it off the island and are being heavily monitored and questioned by Farber and others. Sullivan appeared as Jon in Argo. He also played Chris in Sharp Objects.

Troy Winbush as Dean Young

Troy Winbush appears in The Wilds as Dean Young. He works with Farber to interrogate the girls after their return from the island. Winbush appeared as Agent Hammer in National Treasure: Book of Secrets. He can also be seen in The Goldbergs as Agent Punchinski.

Rachel Griffiths as Gretchen Klein

Rachel Griffiths plays Gretchen Klein in The Wilds. It’s clear that Klein is the mastermind behind what’s happening to the girls, but it isn’t clear why she’s doing it. Griffiths played Brenda Chenowith in Six Feet Under. She can also be seen as Rachel Anderson on Total Control. 

The Wilds Season 1 Supporting Cast

Joe Witkowski as Thom — Witkowski plays Gretchen’s associate Thom. He is her right-hand man in her covert operation. Witkowski is a relative newcomer to the scene. He was in Shadow in the Cloud as Bradley Finch.

Jen Huang as Susan — Huang played Susan, another character who worked with Gretchen. She played Ying Yue in Life is Easy.

Barbara Eve Harris as Audrey — Audrey also works with Gretchen. Harris played Miss Ritter in The Amazing Spider-Man.
