Tom Holland reveals who he thinks would win in a fight: Spider-Man or Thor. Releasing on December 17, the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Spider-Man: No Way Home is Holland’s third solo-outing as the web-slinging superhero alongside Peter Parker’s love interest, MJ (Zendaya), and best friend, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon). The three will be presented with their biggest challenge yet in No Way Home, as various villains from alternate universes, namely Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), and Electro (Jamie Foxx), are able to make their way into the MCU after Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) botched spell.

Building on the events of No Way Home, the Sorcerer Supreme will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for his second solo-outing, and after that, Thor: Love and Thunder is the next film on the MCU docket. It’s unknown if that movie will continue to focus on the multiverse, though it will feature the return of Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder and the Guardians of the Galaxy, picking right where Avengers: Endgame left off with them aboard the Benatar. However, it’s still too early to tell where their cosmic adventures will take them.

With No Way Home‘s debut right around the corner, the cast of the MCU movie stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! for a visit. During one segment, Holland, Zendaya, Cumberbatch, and Batalon fielded various questions from kids, one of them wondering who Holland thinks would come out on top in a fight between Spider-Man and Thor, and how long it would take. Read his answer below:

I hope it’d be pretty quick and painless. I think he would he would batter me, no? Hemsworth and Thor.

Thor might naturally have the advantage over Spider-Man, since he is a literal God, while Peter is a scrawny high-school kid who was bitten by a radioactive spider. However, the matchup between the two may be a lot closer than some may think. Though he is known for his speed and agility, Spider-Man’s superhuman strength is not to be underestimated.

The MCU’s Spider-Man has showcased his strength a few times during the Homecoming trilogy, such as when Vulture (Michael Keaton) brings down an entire warehouse on him and he has to free himself from the wreckage. Although that was child’s play compared to the feats he will face in No Way Home, as he will possibly have to take on five supervillains all by himself – or maybe he’ll get a little help from some other Spider-Men. The wait for the MCU movie is almost over, so fans will know the end result soon enough.
