DC Universe’s Titans TV show unveils a new poster featuring Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven – the four superheroes of the titular team. DC Entertainment officially launched their own streaming service with DC Universe, which will also be the home of a number of original television series. The first of these series will be Titans, premiering in mid-October on DC Universe. So far, the trailer for Titans and various promotional images have teased the various DC Comics superheroes who will appear in the TV show.

At the core of Titans, though, are four heroes adapted from the comics: former Batman sidekick Dick Grayson/Robin (Brenton Thwaites), alien princess Koriand’r/Starfire (Anna Diop), the shapeshifter Garfield Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) and the daughter of a demon Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft). Additionally, Titans will include two other heroes – who could potentially lead their own spinoff series on DC Universe – Hank Hall aka. Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn Granger aka. Dove (Minka Kelly). Though previously released Titans images showcased the superhero team united, the latest power for the DC Universe original unites all the heroes once again.

DC Universe unveiled the new Titans poster today, which can be viewed below, showcasing Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy and Robin in full fight mode. The stunning artwork arrives a little less than a week before the show’s world premiere on Oct. 3 on the eve of New York Comic Con, and the series’ DC Universe debut on Oct. 12. Like the Titans character posters before it, this latest one-sheet for the DC Universe original show features the characters using their powers. Both Starfire and Raven feature the stylized eyes that indicate they’re using their powers, while Beast Boy surrounded on one side by the likeness of a tiger, teasing his shapeshifting abilities. Meanwhile, Robin is front and center as arguably the most recognizable DC comics character. Thwaites’ Dick Grayson is also set to be the leader of the Titans team in the TV show, with his placement on this poster reinforcing that idea.

Still, while the powers of the Titans team are rendered well in the poster, it remains to be seen how they will come off in the live-action TV series. Certainly, Robin’s fighting is more grounded than the abilities of Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy so his action scenes won’t necessitate much, if any, visual effects. That’s not the case with the other three heroes, though, and the appearances of these characters in still images have been criticized prior to the show’s premiere. With that said, fans may be surprised by the show itself and will have to wait and see for themselves whether DC Universe pulls off the powers of Starfire, Beast Boy and Raven in the TV show. Thankfully, there’s only a few short weeks left until Titans officially debuts, so fans won’t have to wait much longer.
