Tom Holland wants to make a Fall Guys movie with Chris Pratt. The young English actor is still fresh off his box office smash hit, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and he is now gearing up for the release of another potential blockbuster for Sony, Uncharted. On the other hand, his Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star, Pratt, always seems to have a number of blockbusters on the way. He will star in Jurassic World: Dominion this summer and is currently filming another threequel for Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Releasing in the United States on February 18, Uncharted is an adaptation of the popular video game series of the same name developed by Naughty Dog studios. After a complicated production process with various writers, directors, and cast members attached, the film finally got off the ground when Holland and Mark Wahlberg signed on to play Nathan Drake and his mentor Sully, respectively. Antonio Banderas plays the main villain, Moncada, a ruthless treasure hunter, while Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle star in supporting roles. Now, the Uncharted cast is making the rounds gearing up for the film’s theatrical release this month.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

In an interview with Screen Rant promoting the Uncharted movie, Holland got to talking about what video games they played on the set of the video game adaptation. Surprisingly, it wasn’t Uncharted, but a “really stupid game” called Fall Guys. Later on, Holland joked he will be starring in a Fall Guys movie in a few years with none other than Pratt. Read what he had to say below:

Holland: Truth be told, we were actually playing this game called Fall Guys, which is like this really stupid game where you’re these, kind of, little people and you run around and fall off of stuff, so not nearly as exciting as playing Uncharted. But in all fairness, I had so much work to do on this film, that I didn’t have much waiting around in my trailer.

SR: That’s so funny. So Tom Holland is going to be starting in the Fall Guys movie in a few years.

Holland: Yeah, me and Chris Pratt.

While Holland didn’t seem too serious about his Fall Guys movie pitch, it’s not the craziest idea given the current climate of video game adaptations. Uncharted is the most obvious example, and Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Borderlands, and a Super Mario Bros. movie featuring Pratt are a few more titles that should be released this year. It’s unclear why exactly Holland named Pratt as his hypothetical co-star, though it’s likely due to the working relationship they developed together on Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, as well as the Pixar movie Onward.

If a Fall Guys movie ever comes into fruition, it will likely be animated, unlike Uncharted, which is live-action. Coincidentally, Holland and Pratt’s MCU co-star Brie Larson has also shared her obsession with Fall Guys, so the Captain Marvel actress would likely be game for a movie adaptation as well. The idea of Holland, Pratt, and Larson voicing a bunch of jellybean-like creatures competing against each other in a series of challenges is certainly enough to entice many Fall Guys and MCU fans.
