Season 3 of Too Hot To Handle saw the most rule breaks and defiant islanders in the show’s history. Not only did they lose a record amount of money, but also a show record for the fastest rule break when Georgia and Izzy locked lips in the bedroom minutes after being told the rules. It seemed like these islanders were lost causes when almost everyone decided that they didn’t really care for the money, but cared about having a good time on the retreat like they were promised.

It may have taken a few workshops and some unlucky islanders getting kicked out for this group to understand the point of the retreat, but some left with a new perspective and a significant other to bring home. While it is unclear if some of these couples have remained together since the season concluded filming last year, these were the couples who closed out the season realizing that Lana is the ultimate matchmaker.

Obi and Brianna

This may be more of an honorable mention, as there was not much evidence regarding these two as a couple. Since the two paired up in the last few episodes, it seemed more like a platonic relationship. Upon Brianna’s arrival to the island with Jackson and Gerrie, it was obvious she was there to stir up trouble, particularly with Holly. Brianna decided Nathan was her main target and asked him on a date. During this date, he made it clear Holly was the only one he wanted to be with, and she was forced to stop her advances.

While it was never explained how or why the two paired up, it was a nice thing for Obi, since he was recently heartbroken by Jaz, who had been kicked off of the island. Before her arrival,  Obi was clearly losing his outgoing and infectious personality viewers had grown to love. Brianna made him smile and laugh again, and that’s all that really matters in the end. No evidence has been shown regarding the relationship status of these two on or off the island, but it was an obvious ship from the start.

Jackson and Izzy

At the start of the season, Izzy and “Truth” were the first ones to pair off before learning the rules of the retreat. Izzy proved to be a firecracker in the first episode when she decided it would be fun to rule break with Georgia by kissing in the bedroom 15 minutes after Lana’s reveal. Truth quickly proved that even his nickname was a lie when he showed blatant disregard to the rules and lead on both Izzy and Jaz, eventually getting kicked off the island with the latter.

While initially upset at this turn of events, Izzy’s mood quickly changed once Jackson arrived on the island and chose to go on a date with Izzy. The two remained together for the rest of the retreat, and even broke the second most rules of the season (guess which couple was the first). It doesn’t seem like these two stayed together after it was over, as there isn’t any social media evidence of any relationship. Despite this, it was nice to see the two grow as a couple, rather than a summer fling.

Holly and Nathan

While they did stay together throughout the entire season of the hilarious reality series, it was very difficult to root for these two in the end. It took a grand total of 9 episodes for Nathan to actually see Holly as anything more than a toy, so it was never really clear why she had fallen so madly in love with him. Not to mention it took Nathan going on a one-on-one workshop to reach this conclusion. It should also be mentioned that Nathan did manage to resist the temptation of both Olga and Brianna, so maybe he was serious about Holly. On their first date, they could barely have a meaningful conversation because Nathan spent the whole time checking his watch for the green light, clearly not understanding the point of the green light. This also didn’t stop them from breaking the most rules in THTH history.

All of that aside, this couple did make it to the very end of the season, even becoming one of the finalists. When Nathan returned to the retreat, he confessed his love to Holly and successfully resisted his urges when the two were sent to the luxury suite as a test of celibacy. Unfortunately, it is believed that the two did not remain together after the end of the season, but still have a strong platonic relationship. However, there is no real concrete evidence to confirm this information.

Harry and Beaux

These two singlehandedly made this season of THTH. It was truly a breath of fresh air to see these two grow and develop as a couple and watch as all their insecurities about relationships wash away. At the start of the season, fans were led to believe that Georgia was going to get most of the attention on the Island when a “love square” developed with Patrick, Stevan, and Harry all vying for her attention. Initially, Harry saw Beaux as a friend and a confidant when he wanted to vent his frustrations about his feelings for Georgia, much to Beaux’s disappointment.

It was clear from the get-go that she had developed feelings for Harry when the two were forced to sleep in the same bed on the first night. By the second workshop, Harry started to see Beaux differently and finally turned his attention from Georgia to her. This was the first couple of the season to get the green light during their date, and it was much deserved. These two rarely got into any drama and did not commit any rule breaks during their stay at the retreat, and they deserved to be the winners of the $90,000.
