Derek Waters hosts Drunk History that typically tells three historical stories during each episode. Each story has a different narrator who discusses a historical event or figure while intoxicated and the host joins them as actors re-enact the narration. The episodes are typically hilarious due to the storytelling set up and seamless lip-syncing re-enactments.

It’s a fun set up that is a great introduction into unknown history and makes learning about history more accessible. The viewer can then begin to learn through the show and research further on their own if interested.
