Tribes of Midgard: Best Things to Do After Beating the Game

The main story of Tribes of Midgard will have players battling hordes of enemies and giant creatures as they routinely gather resources in a mystic realm. Tribes of Midgard is exceptionally combat-oriented, and players can choose from and level up a variety of classes to unlock new skills and abilities. The game’s closest equivalent to a story campaign is saga mode, and it tasks players with completing a series of quests and defeating a series of bosses.

The current final boss of saga game mode is called Fenrir. After defeating Fenrir in Tribes of Midgard’s saga mode, players may feel like they have completed the game. But, Tribes of Midgard has a decent amount of side content to offer, some of which will be easier to complete after players have beaten the game.

One of the best and most obvious things to try after beating Tribes of Midgard in saga mode is to play survival mode. In survival mode, a tribe can expect waves of enemies to appear near the World Tree every night. Each wave gets progressively harder, so trying to see how long a tribe can withstand is a worthwhile activity in itself. With the early days being spent collecting resources to upgrade the base and nights being spent engaged in active combat, survival mode can eventually become a test of sorts to determine just how skillful a Viking and tribe has become.

Unlock All Classes

Tribes of Midgard currently has 8 classes that players can choose from. Each class has its own focus and specialty, so class selection can deeply influence certain playstyles and can allow players to experience the game in an entirely different way. However, players do not have immediate access to each class. Instead, they will have to meet certain criteria before some classes are unlocked.

These criteria can include activities like activating all shrines in saga mode, defeating 20 enemies in 10 seconds, and more. If players are willing to work toward unlocking these classes and mastering them after finishing saga mode then they can discover another new way to experience the game.

Complete Challenges 

Like several games in the modern era, Tribes of Midgard has a list of achievements players can accomplish to make the most of their play time. These achievements are called “challenges,” and they come in three general types. But, what makes Tribes of Midgard’s achievement system stand apart is its tangible rewards.

Completing challenges can result in the player obtaining small pets, cosmetics, and even starter packs they can use in their next campaign. If a player spends some time trying to complete these challenges, they will come away looking a lot cooler than some of their peers.
