Turning Red: Which 4Town Member Is Your Soulmate, Based On Your Zodiac

Turning Red is, without question, one of the most compelling Pixar movies to have been released in the last decade. With its story about a young girl who finds herself caught up in all of the complexities of young adulthood, it’s also a story very much about the immigrant experience and about finding one’s place in the world.

A key part of the movie’s appeal, however, is the fictional boy band 4Town, and so it’s worth taking a moment to reflect about just which member of the group would make a great soul mate, using the zodiac as a guide.

Aries – Tae Young

Aries are typically known for their powerful and dynamic personalities, in keeping with the fact that they are fire signs. They can also be a bit stubborn. For these reasons, they would likely pair quite well with Tae Young, who is one of the more sensitive and shy members of the group. The Aries’ passion and Young’s tenderness would mesh well, and each would bring the best out of the other.

Taurus – Jesse

Given that they are born under the sign of the bull, it’s not surprising that most Taureans tend to be a bit stubborn, but they are also known for their practical approach to life. They would make a great match with Jesse for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that Jesse has two children and thus would greatly welcome the sort of responsible approach to life that most of those who are Taurus adopt in their approach to most things.

Gemini – Aaron T.

Of the five members of the group, Aaron T. is the one who is the most likely to have fun and to be spontaneous. This means that he would be a great match for the Gemini, which is widely regarded as one of the most fun-loving members of the zodiac. However, they would have to make sure that each part of the relationship kept their eye on the prize, since it’s possible for them both to get caught up in the fun to such an extent that they forget their responsibility.

Cancer – Robaire

There are many things that make Turning Red a great Pixar movie, but one of them is the inclusion of great characters like Robaire. He’s one of the most charismatic members of the group, and thus he would pair well with someone who can be very supportive. Cancers are known for being quite emotionally intuitive, so they would be able to give him support, while he would also be able to give them a bit of outsider perspective.

Leo – Tae Young

There’s no sign more powerful and magnetic than the Leo, which manages to cast a spell that is all their own. They thus need to be with someone that would be willing and able to be the more calm one in the relationship. That certainly describes Tae, who has just the sort of compassionate approach to life and relationships that Leo would ask for. After all, he happens to be one of the most likable characters in the Pixar movie.

Virgos are the most practical signs in the zodiac. Thus, they need to be with someone that can both indulge their rigorous demands and also mesh well with their approach to life. Jesse meets these requirements in both regards, since he has enough freedom of spirit to allow Virgo to get outside of themselves and also sensible enough to be able to raise two children. The Libra is a sign that is marked by their desire for balance and harmony and justice in all aspects of their lives. This being the case, it’s easy to see how they would be a good soul mate for Jesse.

With his suave demeanor and his charisma, Robaire is one of the key reasons that 4Town is one of the best fictional bands in the history of the movies. However, his personality is such that he would need to be soul mates with someone who can offer him love and compassion and grounding. These are all things that the Pisces would definitely be able to provide. The Pisces, more than most other signs, is usually able to adapt and change themselves to meet the needs of their partner, which Robaire would no doubt value and appreciate.
