Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is one of TV’s most inventive, quirky, and heartfelt comedies to date. Created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, the show was based on the not-so-funny premise of a woman moving to New York after having been kept in a bunker against her will for 15 years.

As the show officially ended last year, fans are patiently waiting for the upcoming interactive special, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy Vs The Reverend on May 12th. In order to celebrate this, we have taken a look at what the cast has been up to since the end of the show.

10 Ellie Kemper (Kimmy Schmidt)

Long before Ellie Kemper was the quirky Kimmy Schmidt, she was best known for her role as the weird yet loveable receptionist Erin on The Office. A published author, Kemper has been pretty busy since the end of the show.

She has done some voice acting in You’re Not a Monster and The Secret Life of Pets 2 and she is starring in the yet to be released comedy, The Stand-In, alongside Drew Barrymore, T.J Miller, and Lena Dunham.

9 Titus Burgess (Titus Andromedon)

Titus Burgess became one of the breakout stars of the show, as the extravagant, ridiculous, and highly talented Titus Andromedon. Best known for his Broadway roles, such as Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, Burgess was nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy Awards for his role on the show.

Luckily, he has been keeping plenty busy, with guest roles on shows like The Good Fight, as well as roles in feature films, such as The Addams Family and Dolemite Is My Name. Most notably, he will be starring in the Aretha Franklin biopic, Respect, which is set to be released next year.

8 Carol Kane (Lillian Kaushtupper)

Everyone has had weird landlords before, but Lillian Kaushtupper is easily one of the most bizarre to ever grace our screen. Played by Carol Kane, Lillian was always one of the most fun characters to watch on the show.

Kane is best known for her roles in Annie Hall, The Princess Bride, and the series Taxi, for which she won two Emmy Awards. Currently, along with many guest roles on shows like Big Mouth, she is starring as Mindy Markowitz on Amazon’s new show, Hunters.

7 Jane Krakowski (Jacqueline White)

Best known for her role as Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock, Jane Krakowski is one of the funniest women on television. In the show, she played Jacqueline White, the superficial socialite who becomes one of Kimmy’s most important friends.

Since the end of the show, Krakowski has been busy with her role as Emily Dickinson’s mother on the Apple TV+ series, Dickinson. A notable voice actress, she is also working on the audio comedy, Escape from Virtual Island.

6 Dylan Gelula (Xanthippe Voorhees)

As everyone knows, teenage girls can be pretty mean, but Xanthippe certainly is one of the worst. Played by Dylan Gelula, Xanthippe was Jacqueline’s spoiled and sarcastic step-daughter. Often in conflict with Kimmy, she was still pretty entertaining to watch.

Currently, Gelula has a recurring role as Megan on Shameless. She also had a leading role in the college rom-com, S**thouse.

5 Jon Hamm (Richard Wayne Gary Wayne)

Jon Hamm is perhaps best known for his role as Don Draper on Mad Men. In Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, he took on the role of Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne, the crazed cult leader who kidnapped Kimmy as a child.

Easily the busiest actor on this list, Jon Hamm has consistently been on our screens since the end of the show, with roles like Gabriel in Good Omens, Tom Shaw in Richard Jewell, and as the narrator in All or Nothing: Philadelphia Eagles.

4 Sol Miranda (Donna Maria Nuñez)

As the last of the Mole Women on this list, Sol Miranda played the cranky and entrepreneurial Donna Maria Nuñez. Unfortunately, she has had only one notable role these days, as a guest star on an episode of Bull and on an upcoming role in the movie Come Find Me.

However, as the founder of the non-profit arts organization, Embark Peekskill, she probably already has a lot on her plate.

3 Lauren Adams (Gretchen Chalker)

Lauren Adams played the role of one of Kimmy’s fellow Mole Women, Gretchen Chalker. The most loyal to the Reverend, she was one of the most bizarre yet intriguing characters.

A member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Adams is well-known for her comedic talents. Currently, she has done a few guest roles on shows like Modern Family and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

2 Mike Carlsen (Mikey Politano)

One of the purest and most honest characters on the show, Mikey Politano quickly became a fan favorite. Played by Mike Carlsen, he and Titus had one of the most entertaining relationships on the show. Importantly, for eagle-eyed fans, he was most notable for being one of the cat-calling construction workers in Tina Fey’s other comedy 30 Rock.

Since the end of the show, he has starred in the movie Standing Up, Falling Down, and in an episode of Blue Bloods. He is also one of the actors returning for the interactive special.

1 Amy Sedaris (Mimi Kanassis)

Amy Sedaris is easily one of the most fun female actors of the last decade. Best known for her as Princes Carolyn in Bojack Horseman, Sedaris had a recurring role as Jacqueline’s crazy friend, Mimi Kanassis.

Since the end of the show, Sedaris has been keeping herself very busy with the irreverent sitcom, No Activity, and her own show At Home with Amy Sedaris. She also has had a ton of guest roles, the most notable being her role in The Mandalorian.
