Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection Release Date Revealed

The PC release date of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has been revealed, according to a recent leak. Uncharted is one of PlayStation’s biggest exclusive franchises, alongside the likes of God of War and The Last of Us. Even though the series’ last main entry, 2016’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, concluded Nathan Drake’s story, the franchise continues to live on in other releases like the 2017 spin-off Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as well as this year’s Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

The Legacy of Thieves Collection is the second Uncharted compilation that PlayStation has released so far. The first, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, was released in 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and included remastered versions of the first three games in the series, giving those who didn’t own a PS3 a chance to play the games before the Uncharted 4 was released the year after. As for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, the new compilation features remastered versions of both A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy. While it was released on the PlayStation 5 earlier this year, the PC version was announced for later in the year. Last April, Legacy of Thieves’ release date was mistakenly leaked by Epic Games, but the release date revealed then proved to be inaccurate.

This time though, the newly leaked release date of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection seems to be more accurate. Twitter account Wario64 (via IGN) spotted the game’s release date and preorder information in its listing on the Epic Games Store, which was quickly taken down soon after. The listing revealed that the new Uncharted compilation will be releasing on the Epic Games Store on October 19, 2022, and those who preorder it will be rewarded with a Fortnite glider inspired by Sully’s seaplane. Interestingly, the date for when pre-purchases will open only shows the month of September, with the specific date only marked with “XX.”

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection Has A Fortnite Pre-Order Bonus

Apart from the well-received Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection as well as the pre-order bonus Fortnite glider, which is allegedly releasing separately on November 19, 2022, it looks like Epic Games is also planning on relaunching the Uncharted cosmetics collection that it released for Fortnite earlier this year, to celebrate the release of the new compilation. The cosmetics include Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer outfits, an emote, and two harvesting tools.

With October being only a few weeks away and the preorder supposedly starting this month, there’s a good chance that this new leak is actually accurate. Fans on PC will have to wait a few days to see if Sony and Epic Games make an official announcement on Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection‘s release date.
