Max Schenzel is an Unexpected alum who did not know what to expect when his then-girlfriend Chloe Mendoza told him that she was pregnant. The reality star was excited about building a family, as he never really had one of his own, but things were destined to be rocky for the couple. The pair called it quits after the show, following allegations of substance abuse and domestic violence. Max has been in and out of jail since their split, but after his last stint, he may be getting it together.

Chloe’s mom Jessica thought he was trouble, right from the beginning of Unexpected season 2. She did not like him at all, and she warned her daughter that the relationship would only end in heartbreak. However, the folly of young love surpasses all logic. Chloe hoped that they would be able to raise their child together while she was attending school in Arizona, but that didn’t happen.

Their relationship turned sour after allegations of domestic violence arose. Chloe corroborated those statements with a YouTube video on her channel. The young mom has since moved on. Meanwhile, Max has attempted to clean up his act, but has he succeeded?

Max recently got out of jail and promised to be a different man. Despite receiving hate for the way he treated Chloe, the young dad seems to be in good spirits. Max has a YouTube channel and one video he posted left many fans upset; in fact, the live-stream video was considered a total disaster. The jokes were in poor taste, and he got frustrated because fans were not asking questions. Fans were also annoyed when he did not wear a mask while he was ordering food.

It will be interesting to see if Chloe lets Max see their daughter, in light of their incredibly rocky relationship. Hopefully, they’ll be able to forge a relationship where they can co-parent amicably. This might be best for their child’s sake. The baby did not ask to be born, and she should never be hurt by her parent’s actions.

Other Unexpected alums have moved on to bigger and better things, including McKayla Adkins. However, McKayla recently came under fire for purchasing a $2,500 wig. She has also started an OnlyFans, and Max may follow in her footsteps. It will be interesting to see what else he does, now that he’s free and has a whole new lease on life.
