The Stone Golems are a challenging but rewarding enemy to face in Valheim. This guide will show players how they can defeat it. Upon your journey in Valheim, players will come across tons of different foes and forces that are trying to kill them. A big part of the game is preparing your gear by gathering materials and making yourself stronger with proper armor. Stone Golems can be dangerous all on their own because of how massive they are and how quickly they can take down a player in a single swing. Players will want to defeat these enemies though to collect Stone Golem Trophies and Crystals. Considering the game is currently in Early Access, these items don’t have direct use just yet, but they will likely be added in the future. It’s a good idea to stay ahead of the curve while you can. Here is how players can defeat the Stone Golems.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The Stone Golems come in two different forms currently. One of them will have a round arm while the other will have a spikey arm. Regardless, getting hit with any of these will do tons of damage. Players will be able to encounter these enemies in the Mountain biomes and before heading into battle, players will want either Iron Armor or the Wolf Armor set. The Wolf Armor set is a bit better since it will prevent the player from freezing to death. Not only that, but bring along a powerful axe to break through its exterior. Lastly, make sure to save around the area. In case you die, you’ll definitely want to respawn nearby to collect your things. Here is how to defeat the Stone Golems.

How To Defeat The Stone Golems in Valheim

For starters, players will want to get its attention but don’t get too close to it. Study its movements and pay attention to how fast the Stone Golem is. It will present its weakness after a short while, which is how long its recovery is from one of its attacks. When it swings at you, dodge, and go in for a few hits using your axe. Don’t get too comfortable or too greedy. If the player stays too close for too long, it will immediately smack the player away. Repeat this process until it is defeated.

Valheim is still on Early Access, meaning the game still has so much room to grow. With community input and support, the game will surely be one of the best open-world titles of the next generation. Hopefully, it doesn’t take too long to reach version 1.0.

Valheim is available now on PC.
