Valheim: How to Get the Yule Tree and Yuleklapp Items

The Nordic wilderness of Valheim can be harsh, but players can spice up their hearth and home with holiday cheer with the Yule Tree and Yuleklapp Item decorations. The Yule Tree’s appearance is equivalent to that of the real-world Christmas tree, adorned with colorful hanging baubles and radiant, glowing lights. If a Yule Tree is placed within an enclosed room in Valheim, the space’s Comfort will increase by 1, providing both an atmospheric and gameplay-wise improvement. In comparison, the Yuleklapps presents do not offer any bonuses but add a festive touch with their elegantly wrapped designs.

Both the Yule Tree and Yuleklapp Items in Valheim can be crafted using a simple Workbench. The Workbench can be made using Wood x 10 gathered from any tree out in the wild. Remember that the bench must have about 70% cover with roof and wall blocks to be used for crafting and repairing. Once a Workbench has been constructed nearby, Yule Tree and Yuleklapps can be placed indoors or outdoors in Valheim. If the tree or presents are placed outside in wintry, mountainous biomes, they will spawn with a snowy effect, giving their appearance a frosty look.

To get the Yule Tree and Yuleklapp Items in Valheim, players will need to collect the proper materials to craft them near a Workbench. The Yule Tree is made using Wood x 10 and Fir Cone x 1. Wood is a widespread resource obtained from cutting down trees in the wild using an axe. It is recommended to empower oneself with The Elder Power before mass-farming trees in Valheim.

How to Craft All Yuleklapps Variants in Valheim

Yuleklapps come in small-white, medium-green, and large-red variants, and each has its own recipe in Valheim. The small-white Yuleklapp requires Fine Wood x 2 and Bone Fragments x 1. Fine Wood is a high-quality carpentry resource acquired from Birch or Oak trees. Remember that players will need a Bronze Axe to chop down a Birch Tree. Bone Fragments generally can be found in dungeons such as Burial Chambers or looted from hostile Skeleton mobs.

Next, to make the medium-green Yuleklapp, Valheim fans must collect Fine Wood x 3 and Dandelion x 1. Dandelions commonly spawn in the Meadows Biome or are looted from Greydwarf Brutes. A helpful detail to note is that Dandelions will always respawn in the same spot after 240 real-time minutes, or 4 hours, have passed in Valheim. Finally, to get the large-red Yuleklapp, players will need Fine Wood x 4 and Raspberries x 1. To find Raspberries in Valheim, search for red-dotted bushes in the Meadows.
