Valheim: The Best Items to Get in Ocean Biome

Throughout the course of Valheim, there is a massive amount of items and resources for players to get their hands on. Players will travel to a wide array of different areas in the game that each have their own enemies, trees, metals, and other things that players will be able to interact with in different ways to get their resources. This is integral to progressing in the game.

The thing is though since each area of the game has it own specific resource types, that means that players will have to spend a considerable amount of time in each of these areas to acquire them. The Ocean Biome is one such area that the player will be able to acquire items in that are very useful tot heir overall journey. This guide shows players the best items to get in the Ocean Biome.

Valheim – Best Items in the Ocean Biome

Out of all of the different Biomes in the game, the Ocean Biome is actually the least developed. There is only one enemy type that the player will encounter while traversing the sea and there are actually only a few different types of resources here too. The thing is though that these resources are actually very high quality and the player is able to use them to create several very powerful pieces of gear.

One of the most important resources that can be acquired from the Ocean Biome is Chitin. This resource can be acquired by sailing around the Ocean until they come across a giant Kraken in the water. These creatures have large barnacles on their back that the player can mine using their pickaxe to acquire Chitin. They can then take this resource and use it to craft the Abyssal Harpoon and Abyssal Razor, which are incredibly powerful weapons.

The player can also go hunting for Sea Serpents out in the Ocean. These hostile creatures can be a pain to hunt down, but if the player manages to bring one down they will actually be able to collect Serpent Scales and Serpent Meat. The meat is perfect because it gives the player another addition to the fairly limited amount of food that is present in the game. The Serpent Scale though is the real big thing that the player will want to get their hands on. This can be used to craft the Serpent Scale Shield, which is one of the more powerful creations in the game.
