James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules made his red carpet debut with his new girlfriend, Ally Lewber. Before James began his new romance, he was in a long-term relationship with fellow Vanderpump Rules star Raquel Leviss. The former couple started a relationship in 2016 that quickly became volatile. James even rage texted Raquel a series of horrible names that was ultimately the demise of their relationship.

Even though James and Raquel got engaged last summer, the pair revealed during the Vanderpump Rules season 9 reunion that they hadn’t been regularly intimate with each other since the rage texts from 2019. Not only did they make this bombshell claim, but they also confirmed they decided to officially end their relationship. Raquel told the host, Andy Cohen, that she no longer felt like James was her soulmate. While the pair still had a love for one another, they were no longer in love with each other.

The new couple was all smiles as they posed together for their first outing on such a public scale. James, who dissed the un-engagement party, wore a white leopard-print undone shirt with black shiny tight pants. As for Ally, she wore a bright green mini dress with black spots and black strappy heels. James and Ally attended the star-studded event alongside the 30-year-olds fellow Vanderpump Rules castmates, Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix. As the night progressed, James shared several Instagram Stories from the night of him, Tom, and Ariana dancing to performances by LL Cool J, Megan Thee Stallion, John Legend, and more.

Raquel also attended the award ceremony alongside Scheana Shay, who is also on the Bravo series. An insider revealed to E! News that Raquel and James had a run-in and were cordial to one another. They even shared a quick hug before going their separate ways. James reportedly met Ally while supporting Tom’s cover band, The Most Extras, when they had a concert in Agoura Hills, California, in January. The pair confirmed their relationship earlier this month on Instagram when they flew to Tulum, Mexico, for a romantic getaway. The confirmation of their budding romance comes three months after James and Raquel announced the end of the engagement.

By attending a red carpet event together with his Vanderpump Rules castmates, James is sending the message that he and Ally are in a serious relationship. Even though the two have only been together for a few months, James seems happier than ever. Now it’s time for Raquel to find herself a new man.
