Vanderpump Rules: Why Fans Are Suspicious Of Brock Davies

In the latest Vanderpump Rules episodes, Brock Davies was attempting to plan a proposal and surprise wedding for Scheana Shay, but fans are questioning Brock’s motives. Vanderpump Rules star Scheana has had a history of jumping into relationships while ignoring red flags, so there is some concern that she may be repeating history with Brock. Scheana already has a divorce under her belt from a short marriage with Michael Shay, who was revealed to have stolen money from Scheana’s bank account and then agreed to a divorce in exchange for half of her money.

Brock and Scheana met in 2019 and welcomed their baby girl Summer Moon Honey Davies in 2021. As fans watched him this season on Vanderpump Rules, he raised eyebrows right away when it was revealed that he hadn’t seen his children for over four years. Viewers also found out that he was behind on his child support payments. To make matters worse, he had a domestic violence report filed against him by his ex-wife. Fellow Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent expressed her concerns about him to Scheana, mother to mother, but Scheana insisted that she trusted him.

Lala’s suspicions about Brock intensified when he enlisted her and Randall Emmett’s help to plan a proposal to Scheana, but it seemed as if he expected Randall to foot the bill. As they were looking for a venue for the event, Lala and Randall were generous enough to lend their assistants to help Brock. However, when Lala’s assistant Jess tried to contact Brock for his credit card to put down a deposit, he never responded. Lala assumed it was because Brock wanted to wiggle his way out of paying for it, but Brock insisted it was because the venue canceled on him. Brock explained that they offered to give it to him for $20,000 but it was out of his budget.

In a cringe-worthy moment, Brock suggested secretly getting married during James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss’ engagement party, but viewers slammed Brock for trying to piggyback off of their event. Brock also came under fire when he was filmed spending $25,000 on Scheana’s engagement ring. Queens of Bravo tweeted, “Brock is willing to drop $25,000 on an engagement ring for Scheana (putting the payment on 3 different credit cards) *AND* plan a surprise wedding on the same weekend/same venue as James & Raquel’s engagement party? I’m losing count of the red flags.” Tracee wrote, “Maybe Brock should send his kids child support rather than spending thousands on an engagement ring. Also that weirdo was really expecting someone to pick up the tab for his engagement party/wedding. He’s a complete famewhore.”

Fans can’t help wondering if Brock is taking advantage of Scheana. He has admitted that as an Australian citizen, he needs a Green Card in order to work in the United States. Still, all of these warning signs aren’t deterring Scheana. In an Instagram post added back in July, Scheana showed the two kissing as she held out her hand, showing off the huge morganite ring with the caption, “I SAID YES!!!!! We are engaged!!! Thank you to @brock__davies for making me the happiest girl in the world and to @kylechandesign for making me the most gorgeous ring ever!!
