She-Hulk: Attorney at Law seems to suggest that Megan Thee Stallion has powers in the MCU. She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawhas already become notorious for its cameos, with Megan Thee Stallion being the latest character to unexpectedly appear in the series following an Avenger, an original MCU villain, and a Sorcerer Supreme. The rapper, famous for hit tracks such as “Savage” and “Diamonds,” appears in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 3 after finding herself being impersonated by Runa, a shape-shifting Light Elf from New Asgard.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

After a short scene during the trial between Runa and her unwitting ex-boyfriend — and Jennifer Walters’s former co-worker — Dennis Bukowski, Megan Thee Stallion shows up again at the end of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 3, “The People vs. Emil Blonsky.” In a post-credits scene, the superstar signs on as Jen’s new client before the pair dance and twerk together in the former’s office. While the purpose of this moment might just be for She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany to have a proper scene with Megan Thee Stallion, it might also suggest something more exciting about the future of the MCU.

In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2, “Superhuman Law,” Jen is hired by Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway to be the head of their Superhuman Law Division, tasked with representing only super-powered individuals in court as the She-Hulk. This detail seems to act as confirmation that Megan Thee Stallion has some sort of unseen superpower of her own in the MCU as She-Hulk should exclusively retain super-powered clients. It’s possible that this could have been an overseen mistake, but it also could have major repercussions for the next few episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and the MCU as a whole.

Why Megan Thee Stallion Should Have Powers In The MCU

While it wasn’t at all mentioned during She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Megan Thee Stallion’s potential powers could be carrying on Marvel Studios’ theme of slowly introducing mutants to the MCU, starting with Earth-838’s Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel, and a small tease of Wolverine in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law episode 2. It seems that the official introduction of the mutants in the MCU canon is becoming more regular in the build-up to Phase 6’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which are rumored to give audiences a plethora of mutant characters. This throwaway scene between Megan Thee Stallion and She-Hulk could be just the latest insinuation of mutants in the MCU.

Aside from this, it’s fun to imagine what powers Megan Thee Stallion might possess, even though it’s unlikely that she’ll have a larger role in the MCU aside from a small cameo in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Even if Megan Thee Stallion isn’t a mutant, there’s a wide variety of different species or mystical beings that come with fantastical powers that she could be. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is far from over, so perhaps there could be some confirmation of Megan Thee Stallion’s powers on the way. Until then, it’s left to fan speculation to determine what role Megan Thee Stallion might play in the wider world of the MCU.
