Here’s a quick guide to the cast of Walk Of Shame and the characters they play. Over the past decade or so, Hollywood has released a spate of successful female-fronted comedies. From Bridesmaids and Booksmart to Patti Cake$ and the Pitch Perfect series, a wave of comedies are proving they don’t need an abundance of testosterone to be funny. Not every female-focused comedy hits the mark, however, as Walk Of Shame proves.

The 2014 comedy is directed by Steven Brill, who is best known for writing the Mighty Ducks films and helming a handful of less successful Adam Sandler movies – think Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds – alongside being one of the many directors behind disastrous anthology comedy Movie 43. Elizabeth Banks is the star of Walk Of Shame and plays a reporter having the day from hell after a drunken night out leaves her stranded.

The movie was a box office flop and received overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics who felt a lot of its comedy bordered on the misogynistic but praised Banks for making the movie worth watching. Alongside its star, here’s who else is in Walk Of Shame.

Elizabeth Banks – Meghan Miles

Banks plays Walk Of Shame’s main character Meghan Miles, an aspiring Los Angeles news anchor. After a night of partying, Meghan wakes up carless and penniless and must make her way across L.A. to an important job opportunity while sporting the mother of all hangovers.

Gillian Jacobs – Rose

Community’s Gillian Jacobs plays Meghan’s best friend Rose who persuades her into a night of alcohol-fueled wild abandon after Meghan not only fails to get a work promotion but is also dumped by her boyfriend.

Sarah Wright – Denise

Denise (Sarah Wright, Spinning Out) is Meghan’s other best pal and teams up with Rose to find their missing friend the morning after the night before.

James Marsden – Gordon

Gordon is a handsome stranger Meghan has a drunken one-night stand with and joins forces with Rose and Denise to find her. He’s played by James Marsden of Westworld fame.

Ethan Suplee & Bill Burr – Officer Dave & Officer Walter

Ethan Suplee and Bill Burr (Breaking Bad) play dim-witted police officers Dave and Walter who mistake Meghan for a sex worker and end up pursuing her across Los Angeles.

Willie Garson – Dan Karlin

Willie Garson – best known for his role as Stanford Blatch on Sex And The City – plays Meghan’s producer Dan Karlin.

Lawrence Gilliard Jr. – Scrilla

Rounding out the cast of Walk Of Shame is Lawrence Gillard Jr. as Scrilla, a crack dealer who helps Meghan during her day from hell.
