Two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone‘s biggest glitches have been fixed. Warzone has been plagued by a pretty annoying and critical glitch that prevents players from knowing if they’re hitting their target while Modern Warfare players haven’t been able to level up their weapons at all. Needless to say, it has caused numerous headaches for players.

Even though Black Ops Cold War is the new Call of Duty (and it’s selling like hotcakes), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still booming. 2019’s entry is still considered to be a favorite among fans, especially since it’s rooted deep into Warzone. Both games helped Activision have an incredibly successful 2020, as Warzone managed to drop right as the pandemic started to force everyone to stay inside. Along with regular content updates, the two were a powerhouse duo that provided Call of Duty fans one of the best post-launch supports for a CoD title in quite some time.

Sadly, that doesn’t mean both games haven’t had their own issues. Recently, Warzone has been struggling with invisible hitmarkers when they shoot at people. This means the game isn’t giving them feedback on whether their shots are hitting someone, which is a problem in a game where every shot counts and players don’t know if they need to adjust their shots. Thankfully, Raven Software has confirmed the issue has been fixed as well as an issue regarding weapon XP not counting as part of a new update.

The update also includes fixes to UI elements on the loadout screen as well as new playlist names for Valentine’s Day. Raven is also currently looking into an issue that causes armor plate drops to be inconsistent across Warzone’s map, but no fix has been announced quite yet.

With all that said, it’s good to see Raven is committed to quickly ironing out the issues that cause some of the biggest annoyances in Modern Warfare and Warzone. There are still plenty of issues within the game, such as a general cheating issue that causes loads of issues across each and every recent Call of Duty game. Hopefully, Sledgehammer Games will have fewer issues with things like this as they’re reportedly developing the 2021 iteration of Call of Duty. It’s unclear what it’ll look like but Activision is committing to making Warzone a long-term thing, so it’s likely the two will be integrated somehow.
