Max Kallschmidt is Moriah Plath’s boyfriend who viewers met during season 2 of Welcome to Plathville. Although we were introduced to Max on the TLC show, we didn’t get to see too much of Moriah’s “friend” who quickly became her boyfriend. Since the second season ended, Max and Moriah have shared moments together on social media, and we now know some more tidbits about the young Florida native.

Moriah brought Max to her parents’ home during a very awkward scene in Welcome to Plathville. Even though Kim and Barry were a little stiff, they appreciated Moriah letting them into her world a bit more. Moriah and her older brother Micah left their parents’ world behind as teenagers due to the controlling atmosphere they faced at home. Moriah met Max Kallschmidt after she’d moved out. It seems that one of Micah’s modeling friends introduced Max, himself an aspiring model, to Moriah. The two broke up briefly but now they are preparing to celebrate their one-year anniversary next month.

Max is the romantic type, which is evident in the many social media posts he dedicates to Moriah, including a recent photo of the pair kissing in the moonlight. This couple is still quite young – Max will be 21 on November 30th, 2021 Moriah will be 20 on August 28th, 2021. The 20 and 19-year old’s don’t live together yet, as Moriah still lives with her brother Micah, but they seem to live near each other in Georgia. Max is from Perry, Florida originally, and it seems that he grew up in a much different environment than Moriah. Max seems to be close with his family, (which is a lot smaller than Moriah’s) and he recently became an uncle as his brother and sister-in-law had their first child.

Even though Max didn’t grow up in a fundamentalist Christian household like Moriah’s, he is definitely Christian. Max and Moriah have prayed together, and in one Instagram post Max wrote, “‘She holds tight to me and the bible on the back of my motorcycle…me and God love her’” Max’s Instagram handle is @maxkall2.0 and when he’s not posting shout-outs to Moriah he likes to introduce his followers to his friends and family. Max is the CEO of a marketing company. His company focuses on helping businesses with web development and SEO marketing. When he’s not working he enjoys traveling and adventuring, just like Moriah.

From what we know about Max Kallschmidt, it seems that he and Moriah are a perfect pair. They share similar interests and have supported each other in different ways. Max may be very busy soon if season 3 of Welcome to Plathville begins filming. In the meantime, there’s always his modeling gigs, marketing company, and fun-loving girlfriend to keep his days full of activity.
