What Exactly Is 90 Day Fiancé’s Spin-Off B90 Strikes Back?

The show 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days is getting a spin-off of its own, called B90 Strikes Back. The show will premiere on June 22, before an episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which premieres tonight. >B90 Strikes Back will feature many fan-favorite cast members from 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.

Because of the coronavirus, 90 Day Fiancé has gotten a huge ratings boost. New fans of the show streamed in, and the of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days became TLC’s highest-rated show in 11 years in the females 25-54 demographic. It is also the number one non-sports cable broadcast of the year. TLC has become the number one non-news cable channel in primetime, largely due to 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.

90 Day Fiancé: Did Lana Set Up Another Dating Profile Under A Different Name

As reported by Variety, B90 Strikes Back will be a retrospective of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, with cast members rewatching the show and responding to fans on social media. Not everyone will be coming back; the current cast list includes Stephanie Matto & Erika Owens, Big Ed Brown & Rosemarie Vega, Avery Warren & Ash Naeck, Darcey Silva & Tom Brooks, and singletons Yolanda Leak and David Murphey. Leak and Murphey were both scammed. Leak’s online boyfriend Williams turned out to be a catfish, while Murphey’s online girlfriend Lana eventually agreed to meet him, but broke off their relationship soon after. Fans are convinced that Lana has several online dating profiles and consistently scams men online. Notable exceptions to the cast list are “Baby Girl” Lisa Hamme & Usman Umar, Geoffrey Paschel & Varya Malina, and of course, Lana and Williams. Hamme and Umar recently went through a nasty breakup, and Paschel was not invited to the tell-all episode either because of assault allegations made against him after filming was completed. Malina refused to join the tell-all without Paschel, and possibly the cast of B90 Strikes Back as well.

The show will feature each contestant at home in quarantine rewatching their parts of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. They will be filming themselves and taking the opportunity to respond to fans’ opinions of them and what has been circulating on social media. Most of the couples have since broken up and will be filming themselves solo.

President and GM of TLC, Howard Lee said, “Our ‘Before the 90 Days’ couples have been anxiously awaiting their chance to respond back to the social media universe, and now is their opportunity!” They certainly have a lot to respond to; the gossip surrounding the couples has been fascinating, including Rosemarie Vega’s relationship with a woman to accusations that Stephanie Matto is not actually attracted to women. Big Ed Brown’s throwback photos and Darcey Silva’s revenge body will also be hot topics of conversation. Fans will be happy to re-watch the series with cast commentary.

B90 Strikes Back will premiere on TLC on June 22nd at 8 pm EST.
